Sorry bout that,
1. But tonight is a game that will go down in history.
2. Whatever the outcome.
3. Will the Patriots get the win, and claim their, *Legendary Stature*?
4. Will Tom Brady break all known records, smashing the Giants?
5. Will Brian Gumbel turn into Howard Cosell?
6. Everyone that is a true sports fans will love to hate?
7. Can America afford another Cosell?
8. I think so, let Brian do what he must.
9. The game will be broadcast on several channels, so you can't claim you didn't have a chance to see *History* happen.
10. I am leaning towards the, *Patriots*, GO PATS!
11. Is this latest CWN post an effort to have all four topics with his famous *Green Arrows*?
12. *All This And A Bag Of Chips Right Here On DP!*
13. Read it thusly:http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/29/sports/football/29patriots.html?ei=5065&en=e5a0c27def1ef57b&ex=1199595600&partner=MYWAY&pagewanted=print

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The New England Patriots’ pristine run through this National Football League season has drawn increasing scrutiny for two months, building to Saturday night’s regular-season finale against the Giants. Interest in the game, which could complete for the Patriots the first 16-0 regular season in N.F.L. history, has prompted an unprecedented national triplecast by television networks and a flurry of ticket scalping.
For the Patriots, however, the game presents contradictions.
With no playoff implications, it has only marginally more import than a midseason trip to Buffalo. Yet it is significant for posterity: Only three other N.F.L. teams have entered the postseason undefeated. Of them, only the 1972 Miami Dolphins are still remembered 35 years later because they won the Super Bowl. The others, the 1934 and 1942 Chicago Bears, lost in the league championship game and were largely forgotten.
If the Patriots defeat the Giants, then fall short of a championship, what will they have accomplished?

Those of us without an interest in football will not be sitting around the TV set on a Saturday night. We don't consider an NFL regular season game worthy of "legendary" stature.
Let me know if you uncover a Tom Brady sex tape. I might want to watch that. :)

What the hell does this have to do with CURRENT EVENTS? I would think a logical mind would have put this in sports, guess we aren't dealing with a logical mind.

Sorry about that...it doesn't mean much of anything unless they win the Super Bowl.
Good game, great team....they have won 19 in a row, now, more than any team in NFL history....but they still have to face the best of the NFL, now in the playoffs.

Noone they haven't already beaten this season, and most of those on the road. I agree though, they really need to go all the way for it's full meaning.

2. Brady's a machine!
3. He is the very best quarterback of all time.
4. Even better than Roger Staubach
5. This guys a *WINNER*!
6. That was classic too, he threw a pass to Moss, who dropped it, next play, he throws it again to Moss, he caught it, for a 65 yard TD!
7. This guy doesn't give up, nor does he blame his team mates for a goof up.
8. Just keeps humming the ball to them.

Do you think the Redskins can knock off the Cowboys today?

The redskins have a very good chance today. I don't beleive that the Cowboy starters will play the whole game...this game can't help them at all.
Well, except to get Terry Glenn some much-needed snaps.
BTW,I'm a diehard Cowboy fan myself.

It should be a good game. After handing games to their opponents on a silver platter, the Skins are playing well right now
If the Skins do win, I do not look for them to go very far in the playoffs

1. No I don't think so.
2. I think the Cowboys will put so much pressure on their QB that they will sack any chance of a win for the Skins.
3. Your year ending hopes of a Redskin win will be over rather soon.
4. But enjoy the game, I am sure it will be worth watching.

I never would have picked the Skins in the last three gams they have won. I have no illusions - even with some of the Dallas starters out, it will be hard to beat Dallas
Nut I will love it when someone does beat Dallas in the playoffs

Redskins have a GREAT chance to beat the Cowgirls today. First, Dallas has nothing to play for. Redskins win they get into the playoffs. Thats enough for them to play. Second, Redskins came a few seconds away from beating Dallas in Dallas last meeting. This meeting is in Washington. Third, To isnt playing at all. I bet on the Redskins.
