Well McCain isn't doing it for me, because of his votes on various issues, though I've decided I could vote for him if he's the nominee.

Romney, well as I've said, I'd like to like him, but I don't. Too smarmy and he's like the right's John Edwards with hair and all.

Here were my results:

Social I'm a quasi liberal, against discrimination, for pro life.

Economically, I'm capitalist-it's our crossover. ;)

Internationally, I'm for carrying a big stick and using it when the situation warrants.

I took a similar quiz about 4-5 months ago (with a few very different questions). These results are SOMEWHAT different, but for the most part the rankings are the same.

my personal socail views are conservative but with respect to how i view or if i would legislate social issues the answer is no.....i don't think the govt. should legislate social issues.....as i have said if it is not an economic, infrastructure or international issue the govt should stay out of it.....

Basically for the social issues, should be determined by states, not fed. IMO

I'd assume that IL, as currently politically determined, would allow abortions, perhaps even 3rd trimester.

abortion is a social issue and it should be neither illegal or legal....it is a medical procedure that a doctor can provide or not...same as a DNR or assisted suicide....they are social issues....govt should not be involved....

I wasn't implying that you said either of those things.

However, if you think that abortion isn't homicide, it follows logically that you don't believe a fetus to be a human being.

If a fetus is a human being, how can abortion NOT be homicide? Your post is self-contradictory.

Everyone knows im for McCain, I don't need to take a poll to tell me who I support. I would like to see Senator McCain take Duncan Hunter as his Vice President and let Hunter handle the Immigration problem. :salute:

I've taken a few of these for the fun of it. This is the first time I've done one where McCain came out on top, probably because too many of the questions were one extreme or the other with little in the middle. Tancredo is usually my number one on these. Of course, as always, Kucinich is last.
