With Thompson now out of the race, California conservatives are left with a different choice.
Rudy is apparently dead in the water.

I think Rudy made a mistake by ignoring the first few states and leaving everything for FL. Maybe he only had so much money to work with, unlike McCain and Romney.

to be fair, McCain hasnt exactly been rolling in the money either.

Let's face it: Rudy's NYC mayor shtick didn't have much hope in Iowa or New Hampshire.

True, I'm just saying hanging his hopes on FL was a big risk that obviously isn't paying off.
