"Game" isn't even a verb.

The various Indian casinos putting up giant new facilities, don't want you reminded that you're indulging in an activity that oftens ruins finances, familes, and fortunes. So they changed the name, without changing the activity. Now you can pretend you're just playing Parcheesi as they tow your car and your wife has to take two jobs to support your habit. Hey, you're not doing a bad thing any more!

And Social Security taxes became "contributions" a long time ago. As though they didn't get spent almost immediately in the General Fund like most other taxes.

I always thought "contributions" were by definition voluntary. Wonder what would happen if I stopped mine? :eek:

they are called games of chance and the federal govt has a gaming commissioner....so i would gues it has been called gaming for a while.....
