View Full Version : Hillary: I may garnish your wages to pay for my Universal Health Care plan

The candidate who wants you to believe she supports "choice", says she will take money from your paycheck to pay for her Health Care scheme, whether you want it or not.

But don't worry, she said. She'll first have the government check your means and lifestyle to see if you can afford to lose that money. After the government decides how your money is better spent, THEN they'll take it.

Hope that makes you feel better about her plans for you.

Remember, you still DO have choice: You can choose whether to elect her or not. If you elect her, that may be the last choice you see for a long, long time.

Clinton health plan may mean tapping pay

by CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.

The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."

Clinton said such measures would apply only to workers who can afford health coverage but refuse to buy it, which puts undue pressure on hospitals and emergency rooms. With her proposals for subsidies, she said, "it will be affordable for everyone."

She's gone beyond socialism and into fascism.

Does she intend do include any risk factors when deciding premiums. Should a smoker pay as much as a non smoker ? How about driving records or bikers who don't wear helmets. Dangerous work environments ? Are there any rewards for safer behavior ?

Good points, Dillo. But your plan would require Hillary to think. Something that she is obviously incapable of.

I know how people like to bitch when something doesn't seem fair. I can hear it already--why should I pay the same insurance premiums as crack head ?

There's the flaw, crack-heads don't have a taxable income, therefore they will be paying no premium.

I suppose that through this univeral health care, we will all be paying for others' abortions on demand. Up to and including Hillary's beloved partial birth abortions.

Hillary is the biggest flip-flopper on abortion ever. She is all over the map in her views on the particulars.

Well, seeing as how she only wants to garnish the wages of people who can afford healthcare and refuse to do so, I think we should all thank our lucky stars that she doesn't want to turn this into another "Social Security" plan and tax all of us to cover her "Universal Health Plan".

Um, maybe I shouldn't post this? If she or one of her lackeys saw it, this might give her an idea?

Gabby, I think you deserve recognition for telling us who you like and don't like for the Dem nomination. And if I am right, you said you didn't like Hillary a long time ago. I think only you, Libnation, and one other whose name escapes me, have publicly stated your preference.

Sorry bud but no socialist worth their salt would let that slip by.

Like they do now? It's funny, the other day I was meeting with my IRS liason and I was telling him, "Fred, I just can't afford the level of taxes I'm paying right now." He said he understood and would consider letting me not pay taxes for 2008.
