These hypocrits just don't get it!!!!!!!!!!!

"COLORADO SPRINGS — A state lawmaker who used a derogatory term Wednesday to describe unmarried teen parents as sexually promiscuous today apologized for using the slur.

“The derogatory term I used was offensive and inappropriate and I would like to apologize for using it," Colorado Springs Republican Rep. Larry Liston said in a statement. “Because of my unfortunate choice of language, the message that I was trying to get across about personal responsibility, and parental responsibility, has been overshadowed.

"I certainly regret using the term I did.”

Wednesday, Liston, appearing at a GOP legislative caucus in Denver, said: “In my parents’ day and age, (unmarried teen parents) were sent away, they were shunned, they were called what they are. There was at least a sense of shame."

Sex is part of growing up, everyone did it. This person saying that is just a hipocrite being he probably did the same thing when he was that age, he just didn't get anyone pregnant(or maybe he did). It is people like that and the racists that are hurting the Republican Party.

the problem is republicans have lost the balls to call it as the see it, and yes un-married parents, are whores, and the men who knock them up are selfish pricks.

They should be called basterd parents, for being basterds, and not planning to have the kid

just cause most do it, makes it ok?

NOT everybody does it, some have class, and morals and choose not too.

They should be pressured to do something, simply because others do it.

I'm not calling you anything. I just think that you're wrong.
Republicans don't have the franchise on morality.
Just ask Larry Craig.

Morality is acting right, and humans are sinners.

I don't belive that is what he was saying...

But you all love to toss that famous saying around, don't you...

Ask your Barney Franks..
Billy Boy Clinton.........about MORALITY...if you want to name a few names... :laugh2:

I don't have a problem with naming Clinton as a transgressor but the OP seems to think that repubs are the only ones that call sinners...sinners.
I'm sure that we can come upwith a long list of folks, both liberal and conservative, that are hypocrites.

Jesus Christ, Give me salvation!!!!!!!!! These heathens are trying to outsin each other and doing their best to drag me into their blasphemic ideologies!!!!!!!!

Forgive me, Lord. Even though I have voted Republican in the past I have seen the light and promise and swear I will never be tempted by that greed, societal prejudice, individual transgressions and environmental subjugation again!!!!!!!!!!! I promise my life to adhere to the red letter words in the New Testament and that no others will take any precedence over my decisions as I continue my life as another child of the God Almighty. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

Why is it that sex is always synonymous with sin (ignore the unimplied pun but have fun with the alliteration by all means)? Being "moral" has nothing to do with sex, if it did then moral philosophy would be about bonking wouldn't it?

That would of been awesome...

Older Zell Miller kicking Chrissy Matthews ass....All Zell would of had to do, is put a feather on the end of a sword and he could of tickled Chrissys mind into oblivion...

Oh my......I crack myself up...:laugh2:

I don't understand. What is the problem? The man apologized for being offensive and he didn't couch his apology with, "I'm sorry you took it that way". We all make mistakes.

PB, can you tell me what the issue is here? Is it that he apologized or is it that he is conservative? :dunno: I realize liberals believe it is a sin to apologize. I'm just confused as to what the problem is here. I don't approve of the name-calling that brought about the apology, but don't you believe a person can make a mistake and then regret it later?
