I like his teammate, #48 much more!

Jimmie is ready to take the reigns in from Jeff, although both had a fantastic season last year. The best drivers on the best team, IMO.

Californian who went and showed the good ol boys how to really drive.......better than Sr. ever was.

Well, the book is out on Toyota still in the cup although I admit they got better towards the end of last year, still two years away from being competitive week in and week out I think.

Ohhh I don't know about that, don't think it was as much that Waltrip's team was new as that they just never got the engine right, they ran so much slower than everyone else. I mean Juan Pablo was new and he got a win.

Hate the COT BTW.

Been a fan of the #9 car since the Bill Elliot days. I root for Bill when he races and am a fan of Kasey Kahne.

Also agree the COT sucks.

Sitarro I used to think the same thing but once I got some money involved and paid attention there is alot more involved then going around in circles. Its just like golf, if I started talking about getting shortsided, 3 jacking etc. etc. they wouldn't understand and just say its just whacking a little white ball around.

I'm sure that's true OCA, nothing is as simple as it looks at first glance. It usually takes something else to cause a need to dig deeper, for me it was actually playing golf that got me interested in it. Then, working in and around the game just added to it.

I would imagine that a great deal of the interest in NASCAR is found after attending a race and getting caught up in the excitement of the noise, scantily clad young ladies, the feeling of the thousands of horsepower in one place, etc. I was actually kidding you guys, one of my favorite movies is "Days of Thunder" ........ mostly for how incredible Robert Duval's skill at portaying Harry but also the sounds and visuals on the racetrack.

I've actually never been to a race(going to my first one this year at Dover), the guys at one of my accounts with whom I bullshit with since i'm there for about 3 hours at a time are gear heads and asked me if I wanted in their weekly pool, I love gambling so I jumped in and thats what got me to pick up the nuiances.

BTW, did I tell you I hate bermuda greens like they got at Wailea?:laugh2:

Not a real big NASCAR fan. I went twice to the races at Phoenix International Raceway. Got sun burnt like a lobster and got tired of standing while the cars went around and around and around and around. I much prefer the drags. John Force... now there's a sons a bitch to meet.
