Kick ass.

Lots of blood and guts, heads and legs getting blown off. Like the end where he cut that generals guts out with one knife slash.

Holy. Shit.

Interestingly, David Morrell, the author of First Blood, says on his website that the Rambo in this latest incarnation is, blood and guts aside, closer to the character he invisioned in his book than the character in the first movie.

You know you've got this coming for that comment:

You've never seen ANY Rambo movies?!?!?!?! Go rent First Blood as soon as possible, it's a legitimately good movie. 2 is very entertaining, but completely different in style than the first one. 3 is more of the same, but still good.

4 is insane. I can't remember the last time I was so excited watching a movie.

That's surprising what Morrell said, hjmick. I really don't think there's too much to the Rambo character in this one, outside of the very end, I guess. Not that that's a bad thing, the only thing I really needed Rambo to do was kill with extreme prejudice, which he did in a major way.

Never. Not even a minute of one. Never had a desire. I thought 4 was a remake of 1.

Funny you should bring this thread back to life, I was just watching Eddie Murphy talk about Stallone's movies!

Not a big Stalone fan, but, I'll wait until it comes out on Blu-ray and pick it up.

Who here remembers Sly from his porn flick days, where he got his start?

Definitely get it. Stallone doesn't really have to do a whole lot here other than stand behind a bigass gun and fire it.
