Do you support the war in afghanistan?

do you believe their is a war going on between jihadists and ourselves?

would you support economic sanctions, covert ops's and/or military use against china, russia, iran, north korea, Darfur

Just wondering

The events of 11 September 2001 were crimes committed by a small group of extremists. They were not acts of war. Bush's attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq were crimes. Attempting to justify them as a response to an act of war is a crime against the Constitution of the United States, the American People and all humanity. Bush and Cheney are monsters who should be prosecuted as war criminals.

Afghanistan was justified. Iraq was not.
The problem is, why did we initially send 10,000 troops to Afghanistan and 110,000 to Iraq. It's not like Osama was hiding in Iraq someplace.
Osama was not who we were looking for. Saddam was who we wanted. Saddam didn't plan the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon, but he threatened Dubya's daddy. Which was a far worse crime.

The American people, for the most part do not have the stomach for war so we should close the Department of Defence and open a Department of Peace.

We should be isolationists like Ron Paul spouts since we don't have what it takes to fight a war face to face... import only French wine and bananas from other countries. No Mid East, Mexican or Canadian oil either, just build a fucking wall to keep us in because America doesn't think America is worth fighting for. Put up solar panels, windmills and when riding bicycles really starts to suck punch some holes in America and produce some more oil to fuel out SUV's.

911 was not an act of war?

No. Acts of war are acts of states. These acts were the acts of individuals.

Are you suggesting a legal system controlled by the perpetrators actually would indict them?

Is that what you're suggesting, slug?

is your agrument that the response to 911 should have been the same as the response to the first attack on the wtc, or the attack on the cole, or the us embassy in nigeria or our soilders in somalia.....should our response to OBL declaration of war aginst the us been met with a response similar to mr clinton's responses to previous attacks....

No. Acts of war are acts of states. These acts were the acts of individuals.

So it should of been ok that it was individuals instead of a state?

Are you suggesting a legal system controlled by the perpetrators actually would indict them?

Is that what you're suggesting, slug?

Such crimes that you speak of would be charged, and can still be charged. I'll wait to see that happen.

Jihad is a Islamic word meaning: Holy War. In the first few centuries of Islam’s history, Jihad was understood as the war against heretics and infidels.

Those that believe in thier cause do not care if we think we are at war, or not....THEY are....
