looks like some Republicans in Ron Paul's district aren't really happy with some of his viewpoints. He is being challenged for his seat in the primary. I can see now why he was shifting his focus to his congressional seat.

http://www.chrispeden.org/meetchris.html

This is the guy running against him.

I had my differences with Ron Paul but i dont think he is as wacko as everyone says he is. Ill be curious to see how this turns out.

Ron Paul is in deep kaka. This guy is exactly what we need in Congress and would make a better Conservative Congressman then Ron Paul could ever dream of being. Ron Paul has bent over the Republican Party time and time again and stuck it to us. Time for the Party to fight back!

Look at his latest move in basically approving the Berkeley City council's actions with the Marine Corps Recruiting center. I hope he gets hit by a bus.

Except the thing with Senator McCain was a smearing campaign started by Karl Rove back in 2000 when he ran against President Bush and was continued by rival campaigns during this election cycle. I have posted articles and links rebutting everything that has been taken out of context with him.

Chris Peden is probably getting campaign support from those who want to keep using U.S. military personnel to wage Israel's battles. Jews love those "right-wing Christians" whose biggest lust is to kill the world's Arabs so that Israel can dominate the middle east. The whole abortion thing, the fundies won't get anyway.

I think anyone trying to describe RP as a "liberal in disguise" is just a dumbshit. All the supposedly "liberal" sins of RP are actually just upholding the Constitution. Chris Peden's probably never read the Constitution. So much for his "conservatism." There's nothing conservative about a federal government that uses police powers to advance conservative issues any more than liberal ones. But, hey, being a purist about that stuff is so obscure these days.

Anyway, the district loves RP. I doubt this porky little superchurch-goer is going to knock him out.

Sorry bout that,

1. But Ron Paul has to go.
2. This nut-job needs to get out of congress.
3. He makes so many anti-American statements, he has got to be out of his freaking mind.
4. The main one that comes to mind is "We brought the Muslim problem on ourselves."
5. This guy is a madman, plain and simple.
6. The democrats should love this guy, he is way closer to their political mindset, than the *Real Republicans*.
7. I want this *bag~o~crap*, out of my Party.

So *Real Republicans* love big government? Because he advocates smaller government, less taxes, and more personal freedoms he is a "madman"? Why don't you provide us with a :link: to his many "anti-American statements"? If anything, you sound like the liberal here.

damning New Republic expose on Ron Paul shows the “libertarian” Republican candidate to be a racist, a homophobe and an anti-Semite. Will his diehard supporters continue to defend a man who called Martin Luther King a gay pedophile? Daniel Koffler, a former Paul sympathizer, has a compendium of the Texas congressman’s creepiest hits, pulled straight from his decades-old newsletter.

by Daniel Koffler

James Kirchick of the New Republic has a devastating piece on Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) online today on the TNR website. Kirchick provides a meticulously detailed history of the “Ron Paul Political Report,” a newsletter Paul had circulated to a network of some 7,000 subscribers from the late 80s and early 90s.

As Kirchick reports—whether describing post-apartheid South Africa as a “destruction of civilization,” alleging that Martin Luther King “seduced underage girls and boys,” warning of “tens of thousands of well-placed friends of Israel in all countries who are willing to wok [sic] for the Mossad in their area of expertise,” or urging white readers to arm themselves after “the first skirmish in the race war of the 1990s,”—virtually every historic trope of racism, anti-Semitism, anti-gay bigotry, or conspiracy theorizing has been featured in the “Ron Paul Political Report” in one way or another. For his part, Paul has alternately acknowledged writing some of the material that went out under his name, only to deny authorship when confronted with the most disturbing details. In any case, Paul has taken “moral responsibility” for the contents of the “Ron Paul Political Report.” What follows is a quick digest of some of his greatest, which is to say most disgraceful, hits.

I might add, on a personal note, that as a libertarian with significant sympathy for Paul’s platform, I initially viewed claims of his past history of racism skeptically. But the evidence is so overwhelming that the defense of Paul is now, itself, indefensible.

Racist Pull Quotes:

“[O]ur country is being destroyed by a group of actual and potential terrorists—and they can be identified by the color of their skin.”

“I think we can safely assume that 95% of the black males in that city [Washington, D.C.] are semi-criminal or entirely criminal.”

“We are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, but it is hardly irrational.”

“The riots, burning, looting, and murders are only a continuation of 30 years of racial politics.”

“The criminals who terrorize our cities—in riots and on every non-riot day—are not exclusively young black males, but they largely are. As children, they are trained to hate whites, to believe that white oppression is responsible for all black ills, to “fight the power,” and to steal and loot as much money from the white enemy as possible. Anything is justified against ‘The Man.’ And ‘The Woman.’’”

“My friend waved to the tiny [African-American] child, who scowled, stuck out her tongue, and said (somewhat tautologically): “I hate you, white honkey.” And the parents were indulgent. Is any white child taught to hate in this way?” [As a matter of fact, Paul has appeared on a radio program called “The Political Cesspool,” which has featured the neo-Nazi twin pop stars Prussian Blue. –ed.]

“But this is normal, and in fact benign, compared to much of the anti-white ideology in the thoroughly racist black community. The black leadership indoctrinates its followers with phony history and phony theory to bolster its claims of victimology.”

“Korean-Americans, hated by blacks, never riot, and in fact are some of the most productive people in America (the reason for black hatred).”

“The cause of the riots is plain: barbarism. If the barbarians cannot loot sufficiently through legal channels (i.e., the riots being the welfare-state minus the middleman), they resort to illegal ones, to terrorism.”

“We must not kowtow to the street hoodlums and their sanctimonious leaders.”

“Regardless of what the media tell us, most white Americans are not going to believe that they are at fault for what blacks have done to cities across America. The professional blacks may have cowed the elites, but good sense survives at the grass roots.”

“Indeed, it is shocking to consider the uniformity of opinion among blacks in this country.”

“Blacks have ‘civil rights,’ preferences, set-asides for government contracts, gerrymandered voting districts, black bureaucracies, black mayors, black curricula in schools, black beauty contests, black TV shows, black TV anchors, black scholarships and colleges, hate crime laws, and public humiliation for anyone who dares question the black agenda.”

Source: The Ron Paul Report, “Los Angeles Racial Terrorism”

“Black males age 13 that have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary, and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such.”

3. Case in point: I think attacking a legend like Martin Luther King, is Anti~American.

Doesn't sound racist, it sounds factual. Some people don't like to state factual things about minorities for fear of being labeled a racist. Apparently Ron Paul is not one of them.

Congressman Ron Paul
U.S. House of Representatives
September 10, 2002

ABOLISH THE FEDERAL RESERVE

Mr. Speaker, I rise to introduce legislation to restore financial stability to America's economy by abolishing the Federal Reserve. I also ask unanimous consent to insert the attached article by Lew Rockwell, president of the Ludwig Von Mises Institute, which explains the benefits of abolishing the Fed and restoring the gold standard, into the record.

1. But being political about black people while being white or any other color, to single out a race who fought and died for the same freedoms whites hold sacred, is *Un~American*
2. Blacks in general are a very emotional race, who can fly off the handle way easier than whites.
3. But for a politician to use that in order to further his political activeness is wrong on so many levels.
4. It race bates, no less than Brother Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Hillary Clinton.
5. There are human differences between the races, to a degree, but to try and highlight them for political discourse is *Un~American*.

Now that's not a racist statement is it?

Nope. It's a true statement. Even Tavis Smiley said during a recent debate that blacks were more emotional. Anyway, do you know this NOT to be true? Would you say WHITES are more emotional?

Sorry bout that,

1. But Ron Paul has to go. Nah. He is just what the country needs.
2. This nut-job needs to get out of congress. So we can get in another guy who will screw with the interns, promote socialism, or just hide 40K in his fridge?
3. He makes so many anti-American statements, he has got to be out of his freaking mind. The question is, if the statements are factually correct, is it antiAmerican or AntiPaul Spin?
4. The main one that comes to mind is "We brought the Muslim problem on ourselves." I like this one. We go over there and rearrange the landscape. We openly tell folks that it's our way or the highway. We support the shah and saddam. We harbor the shah after he's overthrown. We support the jihadis when russia went to afghanistan. Yeah I'd say over time they decided we are the enemy. And now, we don't have the stones in Congress to decisively end it.
5. This guy is a madman, plain and simple. As opposed to whom?
6. The democrats should love this guy, he is way closer to their political mindset, than the *Real Republicans*. You should read the Constitution sometime and take better notes.
7. I want this *bag~o~crap*, out of my Party. If it's party you are loyal to, then there is no hope for you.
