The economy will be just fine if the government stays out of it as much as possible. Financial institutions made some bad deals in housing and credit card re-financing based on bubble value of American homes. We had a NASDAC bubble and survived it and we will survive this bubble. We need to cut taxes and make tax cuts permanent.

Over 300 million people before the bubble and the same following the bubble and they all need to have a roof over their heads... someone with deep pockets will make that happen and make a profit doing just that... they will either rent or buy but the people will not all be in shelters.

The largest problem is the price of oil that the new Democratic majority has done absolutely nothing about... a dictator threatens to cut off oil and makes a few extra millions when the futures rise from $90 to $97 a barrel. Solar panels and windmills are not the answer to this immediate problem... taxing the American oil producers is not the answer... the answer is obvious but not pleasing to the left wing base politically.
