I made this thread, not to cause trouble, but because I could not articulate my point of view, the way these videos did.

It has taken me forever to accept that some people will judge me or call me names for my decision, but its better then it used to be

I think YOU THINK that people hold it against you. Most people (at least nowadays) are much more accepting of others that dont want kids. I for one am happy to see people acting on their right not to have kids. If you dont want them, PLEASE dont have them!

You are completely right, I have been told so many times, i will change my mind, and it made me really angry, of course that was atleast 5 years ago, so i guess i should get over it.

I am learning, to stop feeling resentful, and judgmental of those who want children, and support them, as long as they can provide love and protection for those they bring into the world, and for those who wanna judge me, its not my problem

You missed my point. You can make as many judgements you wish. They're accuracy begs to differ due to your lack of experience. You 'think' you don't want kids, but don't really know because you don't have any. As I said, you don't know what your missing, so can only assume being a parent and giving birth is a distasteful disaster.

If you want to illustrate your point by using terrorists or the military, you're free to do that as well - although not of it really made sense.

Bottom line. Don't have kids. Get fixed for all I care, just find something else to fixate on. I think, society will forgive you for not wanting to procreate. I don't think anyone really cares if you have kids or not, at least not people on the internet and the rest of society.

I dont feel I should have to have kids, to gain the experience, having a neice now, seeing kids, having cousins, being around children, makes me not want to have the full experience :laugh2:
