He really does think highly of himself. This is hardly a surprise to me. It's his right i suppose. I hope he gets on the ballot. but I doubt he will be close to being President.

BTW when did Jefferson ever hold a revolution in support of socialism?

Nader has relegated himself to inconsequentiality. He's like the old guy who won't stop talking to you at the convenience store...You know, the one you hope doesn't flash you before you leave.

Nadar may take enough votes from Obama to allow the other liberal in the race, McCain, to win

I don't think so. Ralph's ship has sailed; he just doesn't know it.

The news of his candidacy was met with gigantic yawns and residual resentment in LiberalLand. Anybody who votes for this guy was not planning to vote for Obama. Obama's supporters think Nader is a :wank2:

If Ralph Nader campaigns in a forest, does he make a noise?

Ralph Nader is about as relevant in 2008 as Lyndon LaRouche. He is not going to take votes away from anyone.

The state of Florida and the Supreme Court fucked Gore over. Not Ralph Nader.

The state of Florida and the Supreme Court fucked Gore over. Not Ralph Nader.

Ralph Nader took enough votes away from Gore to fuck him over. The Supreme Court only followed the law and the great people of the state of Florida saw Gore for what he really was, a tool.

actually, no I don't know. I've never had an old guy flash me or even considered the thought. Why treat them with such contempt?

The state of Florida and the Supreme Court fucked Gore over. Not Ralph Nader.

The Supreme Court had nothing to do with it. Al Gore never once won the state of Florida. To pretend as though it was the Supreme Court's order to end unconstitutional ballot counting somehow screwed Gore over when the media when back and counted the ballots using Gore's method and he still lost is just disingenous.

I know you hate President Bush. But will you please stop making these so obviously bogus arguments?

By this point, honestly, unless he somehow pulls a completely "holy shit!" moment out of his ass, he's going to be nothing more than a blip on the radar. He may have grand ideas, and that's great, but he isn't a leader, and he just doesn't have magnetism.

Now, you want to talk about screw overs, Perot SCREWED independents when he did in-and-out maneuver when he ran. He was doing well, and was forecasted to possibly take presidency, then bagged out.

No, the people of the State of Florida voted for GWB. It was the usurpation of that vote by SCOFL for Gore that SCOTUS overruled. In a nutshell.
