I don't consider any of them an "idol" anyway. They're just a bunch of kids singing glorified karaoke. If ones a fag, makes no difference. He's still just a some punk singing karaoke.

To be precise, is America ready for a "nude dancing, lap dancing in a gay bar", gay idol. :coffee:

No, he lost to the fat black guy (Ruben) who just recently lost his recording contract.

Well, either way, he was on there, and he was a big 'mo. They generally sing this style of music better anyway.

I'm not impressed with this years group. I only like one of the girls, none of the boys really impress me.

Dude, you're supposed to tell us it's your wife/girlfriend/daughter/mother who watches it, you only recognize it from the periphery of you mind while you're busy reading great works of literature...or Playboy.

Or "I watch it for the girls." But, I think that mainly works on the dancing shows more than this one.

I've never watched an episode of any of these types of shows. I refuse to acknowledge their existance. Now, to my dismay, one of the few celebrities I respect is appearing on Dancing with the Stars. This means I am facing a bit of a sticky wicket. Do I continue to stick to my principles and ignore the existence of this sort of tripe, or do I buckle just to watch Penn Jillette twirl across the dance floor?

None taken, Penn and Teller are not for everyone. I like their act in Vegas, I try to catch it when I'm in town, and I especially like their Showtime program, Bullshit! I never got into Penn's radio show, I'm not even sure it's still on. They are an interesting pair, very intelligent.

Well, apparently not. Which was my opinion all along.

At this point I'm rooting for Brooke White.

I don't know, through the interviews I've watched and many of the Bullshit episodes, I always got the impression that Penn at least was more of a libertarian than anything else. Since Teller doesn't say much, he's harder to read.
