Senator John McCain Opposed Senate Select Committee on POW/MIAs

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBiti-ZbeO0

"It took them nine months to set up the committee mainly because John McCain bitterly opposed all efforts to find POWs."

"McCain made over 32 propaganda tapes for the Vietnamese government."

Watch the 3:58 second video above on YouTube. You will see former members of Congress talk about the massive efforts by John McCain to stop all efforts to find American POWs. More betrayal by McCain, short video:

Get the DVD, Missing: Presumed Dead: The Search for American POWs. This professional grade DVD was made by Bill Dumas, who has spent 50 years trying to get the truth about his brother, an American MIA from the Korean War. This DVD uses actual video from senate hearings on our POW/MIAs. You will see and hear with your own eyes how John McCain and John Kerry sold out our precious soldiers.

As painful as that might be, the media has built this man up to be a war hero, when in fact, he is not. Missing: Presumed Dead, see here:

Keating Five: Had it not been for McCain connections, he would have gone to prison over his role in the savings and loan scandal. This article represents the facts:

http://www.nationalreview.com/contributors/levin040501.shtml

John McCain joined with Sen. Ted Kennedy to pass the monstrous amnesty bill last summer to give 15 MILLION illegal aliens a free pass. More Americans are killed every year by illegal aliens than died on 911. We the people defeated that bill supporting this massive invasion of our country.

Our Moral Obligation to Stop McCain

http://www.newswithviews.com/Briley/Patrick47.htm

"The article, "Influence peddling claims dog McCain, describes McCain’s criminal corruption while on the Senate Commerce Committee for which McCain should have been removed from office and prosecuted. During the time this was going on, McCain was receiving large contributions to his Reform Institute from socialists George Soros and Teresa Kerry.

"John McCain helped armed Kosovo Islamic terrorists. In gratitude the Albanians collected one million dollars for the McCain’s presidential campaign":

February 13, 2008:

http://www.serbianna.com/news/2008/01329.shtml

"He did everything that we asked of him, including arming the KLA", said Albanian lobbyist Joe DioGuardi. The Albanians collected one million dollars for the presidential campaign of this senator. Viet Nam Veterans Against John McCain:

http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/

John McCain has not "won" the GOP nomination.

The GOP convention is September 1-4, 2008. At that time, all the delegates will come together, committed and uncommitted, to cast their votes. Americans must be aware that vote fraud was once again rampant during the primaries. That factor puts "committed" delegates into the null and void category. Please join millions of Americans trying to educate Americans about the real John McCain.

1. He is principled. Unlike Governor Romney, he does not change his positions depending on the office he is running for. We've all seen the video footage of then-Senate candidate Romney defending his support for a "woman's right to choose" and distancing himself from Ronald Reagan's policies.

2. He is conservative. He has an 82.3 lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union. He has a 95% rating from Citizens Against Government Waste. He has an 82.7% lifetime rating from the National Taxpayers Union. While some conservatives point to several issues to label McCain a "liberal", they should also look to the actual records - not current campaign rhetoric - of Governors Romney and Huckabee. They were tax-raisers and big spenders. Their current rhetoric on immigration doesn't match their records. The tens of millions of dollars spent by Romney may be able to fool some conservatives about his real record ... but don't be fooled.

3. He will keep this country safe. John McCain has clear, Reagan-esque principles on national security and keeping America safe. He wagered his political career on his principles ... and didn't hedge or waiver like Governor Romney.

4. He can win. A Rasmussen Reports poll released today shows Senator McCain ahead of Hillary Clinton by 8 points and ahead of Barack Obama by 6 points.

5. The company he keeps. McCain has been endorsed by such noted conservatives as Jack Kemp, Senator Sam Brownback, and Senator Tom Coburn (who has the most conservative voting record in the U.S. Senate). He has the support of more than 100 alumni of the Reagan Administration, and former Reagan Secretaries of State George Schultz and Alexander Haig.

6. He is pro-life. Senator McCain has a 25-year pro-life record, which is why he was endorsed by Senator Sam Brownback. While he certainly does not have a more pro-life record as Senator Huckabee, he certainly has a stronger and more consistent pro-life record than Mitt Romney who, as we mentioned before, is on record as supporting a "woman's right to choose."

7. He will appoint conservative judges. In tonight's Reagan Library Republican Debate, Senator McCain pledged that he would appoint judges in the mold of Justices Roberts and Alito.

8. He will support national right-to-carry legislation. Last week, noted Florida pro-second amendment leader and Republican Chair of Pasco County, FL endorsed McCain. The endorsement came after Bunting met with McCain, Romney and Huckabee. In his endorsement, Bunting wrote: "Senator McCain will sign on to a national right-to-carry bill if Congress brings it to his desk. As far as he is concerned, the gun show loophole is a moot point, and he will appoint judges who follow the Constitution."

9. He will cut spending and restore fiscal discipline. John McCain is THE leader fighting for an end to corruption and wasteful spending in Washington. It is a key tenet of his campaign, and he has a record (unlike Romney and Huckabee) to back it up. It is why he consistently earns the support of Citizens Against Government Waste and has a 95% rating from that organization.

10. He is a man of honor. His service to our country and time spent as a POW (choosing to spend extra years in the Hanoi Hilton with his men even when offered release) is well documented. While some conservatives and Christians decry him as "angry" and "old" or a "jerk" (a recent one leveled tonight on this blog), they look the other way when their so-called "conservative" or "Christian" candidates level ugly, negative, dishonest and offensive attacks on this American Hero. Remember the ugly, disgusting robocalls launched against Senator McCain in South Carolina in 2000? Or how about the mailer mocking his time spent in the Hanoi Hilton that was sent to South Carolina voters this year? Or how about the millions of dollars spent on negative attack ads and robocalls by Senator Romney in Florida just last week

So what if he is the republican nominee.... that most definitely does not mean we HAVE to vote for him, which I am not, marine is not, and quite a few others here on this board also are not. You should know that.

You telling marine to STFU about mccain is really an attack on his freedom of speech. Is that your liberal tendencies peeking out again? Should hussein and hitlery STFU about him and never say anything bad too, from now until November? Why do you think no one should ever say anything bad about mclame? Talk about "bull shit"....

PR, I will be voting FOR McCain, as I think he'll do well with those issues I've listed. I don't like some of his positions, but I guess he'd feel the same in return.

I wish there were a candidate I was more in sync with, but we've got what we've got. I will do what I can to prevent Clinton or Obama from taking over, but if there are enough of you guys, then we'll lose.

Just an aside, I really hated when NM posted glory post after post on McCain, much of it lies. I don't like the opposite either, but it's just my opinion.

Unfortunately, I think I'm going to be doing the same thing. I loathe McCain for some of the "compromises" he's made over the years in office, and McCain-Feingold ought to be tattooed on his forehead for eternity.

But...

We have a couple of SCOTUS Justices who will almost certainly retire over the next 4 years (Ginsburg is at the top of the list) I there is no way in Hell I want a Democrat putting someone on the bench. At least with McCain as POTUS, we *might* get a conservative for the court, whereas either Hillary or Obama would most certainly nominate a flaming liberal.

fine, he isn't your candidate.....he is the Republican's candidate and I will support him.....but this sour grapes shit is petty whining and nothing more.....

Read your quote, then go look in the mirror.

but apparently you don't think it can survive a McCain?.....

It can survive all three of the liberals now running as pubbies or dems. I would rather the blame go to a true democrat and not a RINO.

so I was right, you ARE working for Hillary.....

Nope, I just don't happen to work for the guy you're tea bagging.

You are definatly not one to talk about Liberal tendencies.

You're the one who said you would campaign for Hillary if McCain didn't win. You've got no room to talk, anti-freedom boy.

This country survived Jimmy and it can survive Hillary or B.O. For a reverend, you are a man of little faith. It is also very American of me to vote for someone I want to be in office, not to vote to keep someone out of office.

Juan McAmnesty is not and never will be a Ronald Reagan.
John McReagan is conservative and is just like Reagan.
I have plenty of faith, I have faith that McReagan will win besides faith without works is like a submarine with a screendoor.

WAS..made from the mold of Reagan....he's lost it the last 7yrs...His ACU rating since 2006 has been 65%...
You are trying to take one year to define the whole man. That is dishonest and not accurate.

I like the movie. Also V represented Conservatism, he was against big government, he was against socialism, he was for freedom. Conservatives fight for what they believe in.
If V was an anarchist then so was George Washington and all the Founding Fathers for fighting against England.

V was not fighting against the idea of government he was fighting against theocracy and an oppressive government. He was fighting FOR freedom.

Comparing our Founders to this guy is a stretch at best. Funny how you say Conservatives fight for what we believe in then you chastise us for not following lock step with your RINO. I also find it funny that you claim to want freedom, yet you support a man that has yet to do anything to reduce the size of government. All he does is propose bills that create more regulation and bureaucracy.

Personal Feuds - No surprisingly, members can sometimes get involved in personal feuds. We ask that these be kept off the boards. Please don't derail threads by going "after" someone you don't like. Don't start threads just to rile someone up. Don't harass other members. Please PM staff if you need assistance.

Flaming - While in heated debates, we understand that it can become emotional and sometimes we let that get the better of us. The board will tolerate such outbursts to a degree. So long as it doesn't get out of hand, and become a habitual occurrence, it will be tolerated. If this is abused, the member will be issued a warning via PM and asked to refrain from further abuse. Sarcastic comments are not considered flaming. Not discussing the subject and attacking the poster in a nasty manner would be. We're all adults here, so let's again allow common sense to prevail here.

Not so I have posted actual facts from the bill itself and McCain's record.

Is he perfect, no; has he made some mistakes, yes; does that make him Liberal, no.

Whether you like it or not McReagan is our candidate. So so that leaves you some choices. Either support the rep party and vote for the Conservative choice, or not.

Sorry but I do not think this country can survive a Democrat president, not to mention having a majority of Liberal Justices in the SCOTUS.

Rest assured that if the Dems win the WH they will appoint those justices.
