Sorry bout that,

1. I am thinking about buying one of these.
2. Anyone else have one?
3. I can buy one for 2,499.00 at Best Buy.
4. Its a 50" 720i with great sound.
5. Pretty close to jumping on this one.
6. I have been looking at the 60".
7. But the price on it is rather expensive for the extra 10 inches.
8. Price tag on this one is 5,500.00
9. That's a little stiff.
10. Anyone else seen them?

There's no such thing as "720i." You must mean 720P. That's EDTV, which stands for enhanced definition TV, which is a step under HDTV, which is high definition TV. I find it hard to believe that Best Buy would be selling a Pioneer plasma TV that isn't a full 1080P.

I'll bet it's not 720P either. They haven't made a plasma with that little of resolution for a couple years now. I'll bet it's 1080P like mine. They practically all are now.

Sorry bout that,

1. Well I bought it! * and Movies*
2. Yeah got it home already.
3. Just made a deal with *The Cable* company.
4. Called them on the way home from the store after work.
5. Here's how I did it, you would be mindful to take notes.
6. I tells the guy this.
7. Yeah I want to see what y'all have to offer for HDTV.
8. He said yes sure, Mr. _ _ _ _ _ _ _, let me check that for you.
9. And then I said, "And yeah I want a *Great Deal*.
10. He laughed and said, I always expect people want the best deals.
11. I said, "good."
12. This isn't always the case cause I called last night and got some chick up in Missouri, who didn't know what she could sell me, she finally said that they didn't offer any HDTV except, one package that had HBO, CINAMAX, STARZ, just some movies package.
13. I told her no thanks and hanged on her promptly.
14. Anyway, getting back to my call with the guy I talked too today, he gave me 80 channels, with 20 of them HD, also he threw in HBO and CINAMX, for free for a year as well.
15. All for, 8.76 extra a month on my bill, which is a bundled package, Phone, Internet, Cable TV.
16. Plus tax, which won't be much.

didn't know you could get cable out of state like that. i only have charter.

had to fill in the blanks big guy, you totally left that open. then made some corrections.....

anyway, how can you actually deal with multiple cable cos? i got a deal because i have cable net, and i did not want cable tv, so they (practically begged me) to take cable tv for only $30 more a month. sure, it was only $10 more than non digital, but i only get, uh, family one and then the HBO one, i think. but i get 5mb down and digital for $70 a month. oh the 5, will go back to 3 this june, promotion. i don't download much, so 3 is plenty.

1. I think that was low, but you are a *Lawyer*.
2. I don't pay that much for the TV side of my bundle package, but for 8 bucks and some change with a little tax, it beats my DirectTV Satellite all the hell.
3. They wanted something like 40.00 or more bucks for some package that had I think 17 HD channels, thats it!
4. I got a total of 80 new channels with 20 of em that are HD.
4. (a) To help minimize confusion, I have both Cable and Satellite.

5. And to top it off two Movie Channels, HBO and Cine~A~Max, for free!

6. For a year, to try and get me addicted to them.
7. Anyway Yurt, you seem focused on *The Internet* the most with speed.
8. I think I might upgrade to a 5mb when I start my another new business.
9. *DayTrader*.
10. I will soon start a *Day Trading Business*.
11. I has a lesson by a *DayTrader* and know how to do it.
