View Full Version : Shocking Story of Gay Porn as Required Reading in High School

We can have gay books, but can't say God in the Pledge. This Nation is slowly sinking.

The story of an Illinois high school making a gay pornographic play required reading for seniors has been reported since March 7th, but it has been ignored for the most part with only a handful of news outlets having taken on this issue. The fact that a public high school that requires such reading doesn’t raise a fuss in the media shows how the media supports the gay agenda, of course.

The book, “Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes,” has numerous passages that describes gay sexual encounters in exacting, sometimes violent, detail.

The book, “Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes,” has numerous passages that describes gay sexual encounters in exacting detail, some of them violent.

Initially, this book was required reading for college-bound seniors, but a Deerfield community group was successful in getting the book removed from the required list and placed on an opt-in list.

Matt Barber, director of cultural issues with Concerned Women for America, was amazed by the explicit nature of the book.

Barber said, “This isn’t a First Amendment issue. This is about school officials betraying the community trust. Heads need to roll here. Assigning this racist, pornographic smut to high school kids is nothing short of child abuse.”

This same school district has been in hot water before for trying to slip in under the radar homosexual advocacy into the curriculum.

It is a States issue and not a national one though, so maybe that is why it stayed out of the media? But it seems outrageous enough to make the maine stream media!!!!

I just wished that parents would pay closer attention to these kind of things happening in their own children's schools and would VOTE OUT the school board members that allow this kind of crap to happen!

There is a lot of great literary work that should not be required reading for a public school. It appears that the school board has an agenda that they want to pass on to the students. One must wonder how the media would handle this if the required reading were say the Book of Genesis from the Bible or something similar.

I have no problem with the school district making the book available to students, but required reading? Why?

A State requiring a class to read the Bible (which is near impossible to do in a sememster....I have been working on getting through all of the old and the new testaments for over a decade now and still am not through!!! lol)

I would need to know more information regarding the requirement. If it was required reading, for the study of religions and how they impacted our society or something in that manner I would think that it should be okay as a required read....as would the Koran or any other religious material.

And as long as no one is being "witnessed" to or as long as no one is being forced to choose or to follow a religion of the gvt, it seems to me that the State should be allowed to do such.

fyi
Massachusetts had a State Church until some time in the mid 1800's I believe and the Feds could not stop them or did not even try to stop them?

Why is the question. The answer... because faggots can't reproduce, and since their mental illness has always been around, it's been around in very small numbers. But since the homos have gained a little ground verbally assaulting anyone that speaks out against their perversion, they feel they can now take the next steps in perpetuating it, and how are they going to do that? In schools of course. The bastion of liberally controlled day jail for impressionable children. They're plan is to indoctrinate school kids with their filthy disease in an attempt to recruit new butt buddies.

Well, it's not pushing a gay "agenda." The main character of the book just happens to be gay. I think the existence of gay people is the real "issue" here.

Again, I could be off topic, but this particular thread is what jarred my memory on this gay issue....

And please don't shoot the messenger for bringing this up....I was just putting two and two together....

I saw a program not long ago on certain fish in a colorado river that were turning from the male gender to the female gender due to the high amounts of estrogen(female hormone) going in to the rivers from waste water...basically from all the women on birth control pills tinkling out excess estrogen that ended up in their rivers...

Then yesterday or the day before an article came out on Drugs in our tap water....estrogen being one with higher amounts in the water....

Added to the comments from a friend of mine who is gay and has always insisted that he was born this way, that it was not a choice....as a young child he was attracted to little boys and not little girls.....

Then look at the concentration of Gay men in our cities verses the suberbs....

and note that cities would have public water verses the people in the country with well water....

Is it possible, that the estrogen in our public water system is making more men gay?

Is it possible that they are born that way? Not that God made them that way, because as a religious person I do not believe such....but that there is a possibility that they are born that way because of the excess estrogen that they may have gotten in their public water use?

I apologize again if this is too off topic of the subject in the thread and if moderators want to move this post to another thread, that is fine also... :D

I'm afraid Pale may be right here H.C.

Schools are ramming down America's throat the slogan, "It's okay to be gay". I do not believe this to be appropriate. I believe I have taught my kids to be accepting of people who are gay or of a different color or what have you and I pray they have learned that message. But, I do not want the school to teach their brand of tolerance... ie false tolerance.

we ought not to put blinders on our children when it comes to experiencing good literature and good art. If the only books we let them read were about "approved" topics and had "approved" themes, they would miss out on a lot of good art and literature. Angels in America was good literature and the HBO dramatization was good art. Pacino's portrayal of Ray Cohn was inspired and was a benchmark in portrayals of self-loathing.

I think so too but I don't agree with making SUCH a big deal out of it. This really isn't a big deal. Reading a book in Lit class that has gay characters in it isn't going to turn kids gay. If by making their way of life more widespread they become able to live their lives in the open the way they see fit without having people treat them poorly because of it then more power to them. I just don't see this as "indoctrination."

wouldn't that be pushing your agenda down someone's throat?

since we currently live in a supposed secular society, seems fair to me that if they are going to mention homosexuality as something actually out there, say social studies, then they also need to inform the students that many belief systems, religious or not, think that homosexuality is a non productive lifestyle, e.g., no reproduction, and then explain to them exactly what anal intercourse involves. scientifically. explain what the anus actual does, i think alot of gay guys think the anus is just like a vagina....

However, the comments on "ramming the homo agenda down kids throats" are laughable at best. Those statments are as dumb as saying that racist blacks are "ramming the black agenda down kids throats" with books like To Kill a Mockingbird, and famous Disney movies like "The Color of Friendship".

Before anything else is dicussed, I think you guys need to realize the difference between the words "acceptance" and "tolerance".
They have 2 completly different meanings, and if homosexual activists are trying to do anything in this severly homophobic society, it's only tolerance.

So you want to fight with me Johnny? You want to meet me in person so you can call me a little girl to my face? No, of course you don't. You're scared. You know what the outcome of that would be. I've got a couple hundred brothers in NY that would love to see me show up. We could all get together. How about it?

Listen ham slammer, you give it out but you can't take it, you think your online wanna be biker persona makes you a badass but you're not. You wanna pick on a kid, and then claim someone is messing with your badness when they confront you on your bullshit. Lemme ask, whats a bad ass biker like you doing on the internet messing with a kid anyway? Does that help you get your colors or something?

As far as you're couple hundred brothers welcoming you to NY, then by all means make the trip! Hell you know how to contact Jim, and he certainly knows how to find me. Thats what you want then quit the talking, and start the walking sausage sucker!

Whenever a queer lover starts using the "black's" analogy, it shows you are totally ignorant and have an agenda on the subject. A vast majority of Blacks absolutely HATE the comparision. Its not even remotely close to being an accurate analogy, blacks cant hide their skin color, they cant change it or even try to (none have the $$$$ of michael jackson), they cant put it onhold, or not practice being black. Its such a silly analogy, no wonder it pisses black people off.

Marriage is NOT a right. Its a privledge, just like a drivers license.

Re: required reading, I support it. Todays kids need more discipline and less self esteem classes. They need more respect for authority. Did you know that the kids who go to school with guns and shoot up a bunch of people all have very high self esteems, problem is, it makes them feel like the rules dont apply equally to them as it does to others.

Todays liberals need a cause to make up for their feelings of guilt. SInce you guys put so much importance on "feelings" over thinking, it forces you to recognize any guilt feelings you have.
You also want to feel superior, elists that you are, and hence, you need a "cause' that you can claim you fought for against the majority, with fear for your own well being, you stood side by side with the homos while takig their marriage vows. Yea, real scary
My issue has nothing to do with the book.
It has to do with "required reading".
I don't want anyone to tell me what I have to read.

Nobody needs to be forced to accept anything. I don't accept the majority of the Christian religion. That doesn't mean that I don't tolerate it.
