with all this talk of women, i wanted to know if their were any cultural differences between american men and non american men, especially from the ladies.

Ladies, did you marry an american man?

USA men seem to have a reputation or image which portrays them as not very cultured. That is not my view, but here in europe- its quite a common thought.

The thing is, i actually think its very stupid of people in EU saying that USA men are not cultured etc. EU men are not exactly cultured on a mass scale.

The image of USA men in europe- is the image created by hollywood. The beer, pizza and watching football.

take a deep breath, i forgot some people on this forum are so defensive and cant stand anybody maybe conveying views from a different side. Even though, these views on culture are not my personal views.

And, they do have a right judge, im sure you judge others, everyobody judges others. Therefore, im not going to answer you petty question with a serious reponse.

i don't judge others......i simply allow people to be who they really want to be.....

and no one has the right to judge others....the may have the ego and the arrogance....but not the right.....those that judge and accuse tend to be the ones with the issues they accuse others of having....

The term "redneck" was coined by a newspaper reporter to describe union workers in WV who marched into a non-union stronghold to organize workers. They wore red bandanas around their necks to distinguish themselves from the mercinary army the non-union employers had hired to stop them.

So you see ... "rednecks" are actually socialist liberals. Hope I didn't burst any bubbles.:poke:

Yeah, it's a shame we haven't gotten to a place as a society where we can buy teenage girls' used underwear from vending machines like you can over there!

The history channel has a whole segment about this battle, interresting to say the least.

I had never heard of it and my father-in-law hadn't either and he's from WV.

The 'Redneck War' - 1920-21. Generally viewed as beginning with the Matewan Massacre, this conflict involved the struggle to unionize the southwestern area of West Virginia. It led to the march of 10,000 armed miners on the county seat at Logan, ending in the Battle of Blair Mountain in which the miners fought state militia, local police, and mine guards

This is what happens when you judge a group of people based only on TV.

British come off as people with poor hygiene who are uptight about just about everything.

Irish, really just a bunch of drunks

French, rude people who's women apparently will sleep with anything whether they're married or not

Italian: sexist mama's boys

Personnally I don't find English men attractive, certainly not their actors. Many seem to be small men with no muscle tone a good example is Hugh Grant, eewwwwww.

What you claim it means is merely one of quite a few definitions I've heard over the years. Yours is an elitist definition used by snobs who consider themselves better than others.

While their views of right and wrong may differ from yours, you are no more or less opinionated and bigotted than you claim they are and your use of the word proves exactly that.
