Have you seen the Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point, Ohio? It's a launch style coaster a height of 420-feet and top speed of 120 mph on the down. I have long stopped doing the roller coatser/amusement park thing, but even if I hadn't, I'm not sure I would do this one:

Odd, I've looped, rolled and done spins in airplanes but never really cared much about coasters. I'll never step on the new, make ya pee yer pants" ones. I promise.

Never been on one.
My parents were never much on amusement parks. I grew up within a mile of Disneyland. The only time I ever went was for a birthday party when I was in elementary school.

Cedar Point has the best rollar caosters in the US in my opinion. I personally do't care for Disney (all fluff no substance). Plus Disney cost too damn much money to just walk around!!!

Most Anaheim kids preferred Magic Mountain to Disneyland, which is a noted tourist trap.

Now seriously...coaster design and construction are fascinating.

DAMN I gotta hitchhike to cedar point. I'm kind of a coaster freak, I love the damn things. the scarier the thing is, the better. Down hear we have busch gardens and king's dominion, BG has definitely got the better act, although KD is definitely still the undisputed winner for coasters. Volcano, a vertical linear induction coaster (basically, you get shot up out of a mountain at about bullet force, and it's a hanging coaser), although BG has come back strong with The Griffon

I like the old wooden coasters. All that shaking and noise make it scary and more authentic to me.
