Video: See Hillary's Hammer in action
It is unlikely to get the red carpet treatment in Hollywood, but for the producers of a new film about Hillary Clinton, the biggest prize will be keeping her out of the White House.

The satirical cartoon ends with Hillary's Hammer

Billed as a "Michael Moore-style documentary", but from a right-wing perspective, the production is being funded by long-standing political enemies of the former First Lady, who are increasingly concerned that she will win power in next year's presidential election. The "Stop Hillary" campaign is gathering its forces early in the hope that Sen Clinton's campaign can be derailed before she wins the Democratic nomination, after which they fear she may be unstoppable.

Its members include the former political adviser to President Clinton, Dick Morris, now one of the couple's most bitter opponents.

Mr Morris was forced to resign from Bill Clinton's campaign team in 1999 after revelations of his relationship with a prostitute.

Now he has joined forces with David Bossie, a leading conservative Republican, to make the film, which will follow Sen Clinton on the campaign trail and focus on old scandals such as the Whitewater property deal and the sacking of the White House travel office.

They are seeking donations through Citizens United, a conservative pressure group, which promises that the $2 million documentary, to be released in the autumn, will "expose the truth about her conflicts in the past and her liberal plot for the future."

Mr Bossie, the author of a book attacking John Kerry during the last election, says that the only way to stop Sen Clinton is to strike early, "before she has a chance to win". He warns: "You can't hold off your silver bullet until the end."

Other groups ready to take on the formidable Clinton political machine include "Stop Her Now" a humorous website funded with a $200,000 donation from Richard Collins, a businessman from Dallas and Republican supporter.

The website features The Hillary Show, a satirical weekly animated cartoon which portrays the New York senator as a chat show host grilling Left-leaning figures such as the singer Barbra Streisand, and the new Democratic House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi.

The mock interviews are usually terminated with a blow to the head from " Hillary's Hammer," a large mallet wielded by the cartoon Sen Clinton.
