I'll tell ya, I've been checking prices on truck rentals... wow. There all pretty close in cost too. A 24' for one way, Reno, NV to Madison, WI, 7 days, $2,000 and up. Shit man... for that kind of money I'm thinking of buying a truck. Then I could take as long as I want to load it, take my time driving to Wisconsin, and take as long as I need to to unload it, and then sell it. I found this one on ebay. 2000 International 4700 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270221572927&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017) If it wasn't in FLORIDA I'd look at it. Buy a truck, use it, sell it, and be $2000+ richer.

Hassle or good idea?

Depends on if there is a market for the truck when you get to where your going.

Well it's a busy area around Madison, Wisconsin, with Chicago and such not that far away. I wouldn't have to be in a hurry to sell it either. I could maybe even do some hauling on the side with it and pick up a couple extra bucks.

I think I'm going to slide on down to the International truck lot here in Sparks today and just take a look around.
