utter bullshit. I hope various American, European and African athletes raise a ruckus during the Games (particularly Kobe Bryant who has shown a willingness to say un-PC things about China in Dar Fur).

As for the Chinese thugs being 'necessary' based on a photo of a 'Tibetan' attacking a wheelchair bound woman, it may *shock* be a Chinese provocateur in disguise.

Forget It. It's Chinatown... Big Lizards Breaking Bombshell News!
Commies , Mysterious Orient
Hatched by Sachi

The most iconic photograph from the riots attending the torch-bearing ceremony, the one that has every tongue wagging, is surely this one: A Tibetan supporter violently assaulting a wheelchair-bound woman carrying the torch through Paris.

This one picture came to symbolize the heartless violence of the Tibetan protesters, thus justifying, in many people's minds, the paramilitary troops that China sent to harass, beat, and brutalize the protesters in other countries -- from France and London to the United States to South America:...

Geez. Its all one long and glorious propaganda coup for tyrants.

The only thing that makes me feel good is that even though we are the most hated people in much of the world, the Chinese are doing all they can to overtake us!

I agree. There is so much propaganda from all sides it becomes overwhelming trying to figure out where the facts and fantasies start and stop and intermingle. While not unexpected from China, the ability of the MSM to not turn a skeptical eye towards so many stories and photos in the past decade or so is more than a bit worrisome.

I stopped caring about the Olympics when they allowed professional athletes to compete in the games.

I actually wish athletes would remember the point of the Olympic games. Its to put aside politics and plays some sports.

Chinese absuses can be taken care of at more appropriate times. The Olympic games are supposed to be bigger than that

The Olympics are not a political event. If athletes become political protesters they should be tossed.
