Looks like the ABC debate really rattled Barry. He can't handle the tough questions so now he's not going to answer anymore.

What a shitbag coward.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama on Thursday suggested he doesn't see any point in having another debate with Democratic rival Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Wednesday's debate on ABC may be the final face-off between Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

1 of 2 Clinton has agreed to a debate next week, but Obama has not yet accepted the invitation.

At an appearance in Raleigh, North Carolina, Obama said he has a lot of campaigning to do in a limited amount of time.

Obama said he had agreed to an earlier debate, but Clinton declined that one.

"I'll be honest with you, we've now had 21," he said. "It's not as if we don't know how to do these things. I could deliver Sen. Clinton's lines; she could, I'm sure, deliver mine."

Obama said he has to look at his schedule, considering the upcoming primaries.

The two Democrats went head-to-head in a debate Wednesday night on ABC.

Its pretty obvious he is going to wilt. Its quite obvious he is a far weaker candidate than Hillary. She handed him his ass in that debate. The rabid liberals are crying it wasn't a "fair" debate because Stephenopolous is a clinton stooge. Well of course he is, but every debate thus far has been biased in Obama's favor.

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama was again drawn into Tony Rezko's corruption trial on Monday, when the prosecution's star witness placed Obama at a party for an Iraqi-born billionaire who was later barred entry to the United States.
Stuart Levine testified under cross-examination that Obama and his wife, Michelle, attended the April 3, 2004, reception for Nadhmi Auchi.http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/rezko/894559,CST-NWS-rezko15.article

I agree with him. They've had 21 debates already. What would one more accomplish? When the real race begins between (probably) him and McCain, I'm sure he'll debate him. Until then, what would 22 primary debates accomplish that 21 haven't?

Well for one thing, perhaps Obama would answer platform questions with specific answers. So far it's all been "I'm about change. Change is what I'm about." for Obama. If he can't answer the hardball questions about his political platform, in the democratic primaries, he sure as hell won't be able to contend with the hardball of the general election.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican Sen. John McCain has erased Sen. Barack Obama's 10-point advantage in a head-to-head matchup, leaving him essentially tied with both Democratic candidates in an Associated Press-Ipsos national poll released Thursday.

The survey showed the extended Democratic primary campaign creating divisions among supporters of Obama and rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and suggests a tight race for the presidency in November no matter which Democrat becomes the nominee.

McCain is benefiting from a bounce since he clinched the GOP nomination a month ago. The four-term Arizona senator has moved up in matchups with each of the Democratic candidates, particularly Obama.

Unlike Hillary, he refuses to go on any conservative programs. When the questioning in the Dem debates starts resembling what he might be subjected to if he accepted some of those conservative invitations, I guess we shouldn't be surprised that he doesn't want to debate anymore. But of course he must be a coward, cause only cowards stop having an argument that cannot possibly be won by either side 21 times, and decide they'd rather not have a 22.

And if I make the statement " the Clinton's have never lost an election", is that untrue?

No wait, he did lose one, his reelection bid for governor back in early 80's I think................then he did what very few others in American history have done, ran again after losing and.....................won.

The rest is history.

Yeah:

http://clinton4.nara.gov/WH/EOP/OP/html/Hope.html

n 1976, Bill Clinton was elected Attorney General of Arkansas. Two years later, at the age of thirty-two, he became the youngest governor in the United States. As governor of Arkansas, he concentrated on improving the state's educational system and building better roads. On February 27, 1980, the Clintons' daughter, Chelsea Victoria, was born. The Clintons describe this day as the happiest one of their lives.

Picture of Bill Clinton as Governor of Arkansas Later that year, in a close election, Governor Clinton lost the race for a second term to Republican Frank White. Feeling that he had not accomplished all that he wanted to do, he ran as the Democratic candidate in the next gubernatorial election. Campaigning throughout the state, he assured the voters that he would address their needs, and he was re-elected in November 1982.

A loss and then even more spin.

If Hillary wins I'll be amazed, but I was not into making prognostications. To this minute, I'm clueless to who will win. You however have said only Hillary will win, because Clinton's don't lose.

The primaries will not select the nominee, It is impossible for eith one to win enough delegates to win the nomination

Yes, your party is still tunning against Pres bush and he is not on the ballot.

Keep pushing a tax and spend liberal agenda, and like Mondull who promised to raise taxes - you will earn the same results

running away from your own polling sources now?:laugh2:

and running against Bush is a winning strategy for us.... especially when McSame is joined to Bush at the hip on the major issues that matter to voters.

And it is funny that you should be all indignant about our using that tactic.... we learned it from watching Dubya run against Clinton in 2000!

Who is running away form the polls. Hillary win win PA by a good margin. She will cut into Barry's delegate and popular vote lead

But because of your parties fucked up system, neithe Bary or Hillary will have enough delegates to win the nomination even after all the primaries end June 3rd

This is going all the way to Denver, with the Clintons strong arming the SD"s

I do not care who wins. They are both tax and spend libs who lie like hell.

Barry gets a deer in the head lights look when asked hard questions, and Hillary just wings it

In debates with McCain, they will look bad

Funny, since 2000 libs have praised McCain for going against Pres Bush and Republicans. They kept saying that right up until he won the nomination, then they went with the DNC talking points like you are doing

The Rules Change for Obama
By Michael Barone

Barack Obama seemed puzzled. Angrily puzzled. The apostle of hope seemed flummoxed by the audacity of the question. At the April 16 Philadelphia debate, George Stephanopoulos, longtime aide to Democratic politicians, was asking about his longtime association with Weather Underground bomber William Ayers.

The Weather Underground attacked the Pentagon, the Capitol and other public buildings; Ayers was quoted in The New York Times on Sept. 11, 2001, as saying, "I don't regret setting bombs; I feel we didn't do enough."

It was at Ayers' house that Obama's state Senate candidacy was launched in 1995; Obama continued to serve on a nonprofit board with Ayers after the Times article appeared.

Obamaites live-blogging the debate were outraged. The press is not supposed to ask such questions. They are supposed to invite the candidates to expatiate on how generous their health care plans are. Or to allow them to proclaim that "we are the change that we are seeking." Or to once again bash George W. Bush.

There was some of that in this debate. But Obama was asked about his association with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his remarks about wearing an American flag lapel pin, his comment that "bitter" small town Pennsylvanians "cling to guns and religion" and his "friendly" relations -- "friendly" is his campaign adviser David Axelrod's word -- with William Ayers.

Did Obama expect that this would never come up in the campaign? He certainly gave that impression. The normally poised candidate looked irritated and weary. "This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who's a professor of English" -- actually, it's education -- "in Chicago, who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis. And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn't make much sense, George."

He compared Ayers to Sen. Tom Coburn, who has advocated the death penalty for abortionists. But of course Coburn has never advocated bombing their houses or clinics.
