I am curious someone posted a picture of gas prices in Los Angeles and Canada on another board. How much is a gallon of gas in Canada?

last i talked to my wife's folks, it was something like $2 a liter, not a gallon.

Last I heard, in Ottawa, it was $1.16 CDN per litre. Being that it's Thursday, it will probably go up a bit by the end of the day or tomorrow.

Metric not being my thing, a litre is pretty close to 4 per gallon? Puts it pretty close to $4.60 a gallon? I just checked the exchange rate, USD to CDN, pretty close right now.
