yeah cause providing the teachers with ways to defend themselves and the students is alot more dangerous than the kids coming in with weapons.

Nothing wrong with teachers bringing a gun to school. Have you seen some of the schools in the Santa Ana area? I'd bring a gun too. She does have the right to do so, of course, despite unconstitutional so-called "gun control" laws trying to pretend otherwise.

But there's something very wrong with her keeping it in a non-secure place where third-grade kids can find it (and they did). That's criminal negligence and could have led to a tragedy. Not much different from leaving an open container of battery acid on a table where kids would get to it. The teacher deserved a stay in the local hoosegow for that one, and a serious look at whether she should remain a teacher. She is STUPID as well as careless. Should such people be teachers at all?
