The Democratic National Committee has sparked outrage among veterans and others across the internet by running an anti-John McCain ad that shows U.S. soldiers being blown up.

After the new ad’s voice-over castigated McCain for suggesting that the United States may stay in Iraq for “maybe 100” years, the footage becomes shocking.

The DNC ad then shows an explosive device detonating near two soldiers standing beside a palm tree. The two soldiers disappear in an explosive fireball. The video also shows images of burning vehicles.

Perhaps in future the DNC could attach a disclaimer to the end of their adverts, "No Soldiers Were Harmed In The Making Of This Production"

I know libs loath the military, but shheeeesh

It's not the complete video. The whole thing shows the two soldiers walking back out of the smoke after the detonation. It's a video from 2003 when IED's were first being used. They weren't as powerful as the later models.

Thank God they walked away

But once again libs are using the troops as political props after spending years smearing and insulting them

I'm sure that will make the parents of any soldier killed by an IED in Iraq feel much better when they see the ad on television.....

Just another half truth from the DNC. If they get called on it they can always show the whole video to say see they weren't killed in the blast. It's still the dems using the military to play politics.

When have Dems told anything other then half truths when it comes to Iraq?

The Dem party have gone out of ther way to make sure they make it as difficult as possible for the US to win in Iraq - the troops are winning dispite the Dems "best" efforts

So what is wrong with it? A vote for McCain is a vote for at least four more years of U.S. soldiers dying in Iraq. American soldiers being blown up is Bush foreign policy. The Bushies endorse American soldiers being blown up.
The Dems stand for peace. McCain stands for war and bloodshed.

Both sides are war mongers abusing the troops...

Both Hillary and McCain want to "obliterate" Iran... that will go over real well in 2/3 Shiite Iraq... McCain is nuts and wants to fight China & Russia, Hillary will say whatever it takes to look tough.

The partisan use of the military is nothing new and has been ongoing since Bubba started it in full force in '93.....

Dems stand for surrender and appeasement

That is why terrrorist groups like Hamas have endorsed Obama

They know the left have spines of Jello and will not stand up to them
