Say it ain't so mfm. They would never join forces or help each other out.

This is an iraqi blogger who lives in baghdad. Of course he wouldn't know more about the status of things than mfm. And the meetings are taking place in syria and lebanon. Imagine that.

The madhi army led by Muktadah Al Sadr is Shi'ite and are radically fundamentalist in their beliefs, especially where it comes to dealing with apostate Sunnis. Al Qaeda is rooted in a radically fundamentalist view of Sunni Islam, and is equally ruthless in dealing with apostate Shi'ias. Never shall the twain meet.

Until this rumor is confirmed by intel from either State, the NSA or other office, except the Oval Office, it will remain a rumor.

Another one that is an expert on the middle east and how they think. Who didn't bother to read the site posted. syria is sunni and they are working hand in hand with iran. They are ba'athist as well and are mediating between the islamic army and shia militia. iran is supplying everybody, including the taliban. AQ is going to have to fall in line or be kicked out of iraq.

for your information State, NSA and other offices are run by the oval office. And you don't really expect them to say anything about this do you. Since you won't believe anything Bush says why would you doubt what an iraqi that lives in baghdad says.

Oh, I fully believe they have and will join forces.

The whole game is to get us OUT and then struggle for power among themselves. We cramp their style.

Polls have clearly shown that both Sunnis and Shia want us out, out, out.

How can they focus on killing each other with us there?

Of course they are joining forces.

Until we're gone.

Interesting perspective on what Arabs think of their leadership. It sounds strikingly familiar with what most Conservative Americans have been saying for decades.

Yeah I have been following his writings for a couple of years now. Was interesting, if you read the archives, he would describe his house being raided and shell fragments around his home. He definitely gives a good insight into iraqi politics. A real good source if you want to know what's really happening over there.

Glad you liked it.
