I guess Obama is not the only presidential candidate supported by a renegade religious figure.

I really don't think he has done enough to distance himself from Pastor Hagee. He really should have left that church the first time he heard Pastor Hagee make these comments.

Very true. It is difficult to believe that McCain would endorse that sort of hatred against Catholics.

Get back to me when McCain has spent twenty years in Hagee's church listening to his BS.

For the record, Hagee is an ass.

I know right? I don't see why Sidney (John's middle name) doesn't just drop out of the race altogether. The fact that his middle name is Sidney proves that his real allegiance lies with Australia anyway. And this latest thing with Pastor Hagee is just really disheartening. Who'd have known that he was an Anti-Catholic Australia-lover?
I also hear that he opposes the use of torture. I mean what if a nuclear explosion were imminent and the only way to save the country was to torture a terrorist? He's so unpatriotic.

Disingenuous thread title - Hagee is not, nor has ever been, McCain's pastor.

Figures a pathetic, partisan piece of shit like Gaby would try to make a connection where none exists. Unlike the connection between Obama and Rev. Wright which has 20-years of connections.

So not only is McCain a traitor to his country, but he is friends with a Catholic-hating megachurch preacher. What scandal will be unearthed next?

Now all McCain has to do is apologize for writing a book inspired by his pastor.

is there any evidence that McCain has even met Hagee? Or been in his Church? Dont you have to do those two things before a man can be your pastor?
