4.2 is small .... but it does get your attention when you are right on top of it .... one glass fell off the counter .... all is well....

Would you like to hear the strangest thing?

I've travelled to California several times and, not once, was I ever in an earthquake.

But, one night about 19 years ago, I was sitting in my living room here in New York (I was married at the time), when I thought I felt the room move.

I thought our cat had jumped on the recliner I was sitting in (she had a habit of doing that)... I looked at my wife with a puzzled look when she asked me "did you just feel the room move?"

Turns out that we had a very minor earthquake (less than magnitude 3)....
