Day one is "In the books"

The class took a 'diagnostic' test today; to help the instructors guage where the class is. I was the first one finished (generally am, with tests) - I had to guess on a number of questions....some I had to reason-out by looking closely at what was being asked; sometimes looking ahead to find if SOME answers were a part of other questions...anywho, I scored a whopping 42% :( :( :(

While taking the test I was thinking "I am SO screwed...I really shouldn't even BE in this class - everyone else seems so..professional and junk."

So - after I saw the 42%, the instructor told me not to worry, because, generally EVERY class has an average (as a whole) of exactly 42% on the diagnostic.

Made me feel better.

Made me feel EVEN better when chatting with a Colonel who told me HE got 30%! :)

btw - our class average? 40%.

Woot! :) The test and results did a LOT to help me feel like this class will be aight. Made me feel like I can DO this stuff...Still odd to get this class surrounded by MAJ's, LTCs, a COL, several a number of GS13s, and one 15.

Haven't heard. We're doing a budget drill to figure out how much it will cost us to replace you (temp backfill).

On a separate note, I saw your favorite barista (Tina) today. To quote Wayne and Garth... "Schwing!"
