I called a couple of book stores in the Orange County area this morning. Both were sold out of the Scott McClellan book. One received 100 copies on Tuesday and sold them all by Wednesday evening.

It seems a lot of people want to read the inside story about the Lies of Bush.

I just checked the latest NY Times non-fiction best seller list. They list 35 books. His is not on it. Perhaps it's too soon to tell, though.

I am mildly amused by those who have embraced and praised McClellan for this book. Many of them are the same ones who citicized George Stephanopoulos (try spelling that without looking) when his tell-all was published.

I believe the NY Times list comes out once a week. McClellan's book came out on Tuesday.
Amazon.com has it ranked as the current No. 2 seller among all books.

So it is too soon to tell on the NYT. It sounds like it's doing quite well. He will have his 30 pieces of silver.
