I hate: Saudi Arabia, Iran, China, Russia, Syria, Mexico

Indifferent: Lebanon

Seriously? Every country I have been to has things I like and things I do not like. Are you asking for a political view? Or a more personal view, about the people and countries in general?


There is a website you can go to and click the countries you have been to and it will give you a % of the total countries you have been to. I am around 9%.

Why does there have to be a point to every post? Can't some just be for fun? If you don't think a particular post diserves to be replied to, don't. Leave it for the rest of the board to do what they want.

How can anyone hate an entire country?
You might dislike the government, or certain citizens, but how can you hate the entire country?

That having been said, I must say that the most fun I have had in a foreign country was Australia. Mostly because it is so different from the U.S.

We drug my kids all over the country and the world when they were babies, they love to travel now. a lot of that may have been who I work for, we didn't have a lot of choice when we traveled sometimes.

We went on a road trip from VA to Ca and back, my boys still talk about it. Stopped and saw the crazy tourist things like the biggest ball of twine. It was a blast.

I'm not avoiding Mississippi, I've just never been. Same with Arkansas - I've only been to the airport (Little Rock) on a connecting flight. I'm certain we'll see more of the South now that I'm moving to Atlanta.

Vermont is beautiful. We went a couple of months ago. Highly recommended. Beware, though, the state sales tax is 9%, and 11%(!) in Burlington.
