I know a guy... you all know him, or at least most of you do.He is an administrator of a board most of us know about and he has almost singlehandedly turned that board around, kept it alive and worthwhile, he is surrounded by mods that encompass the political spectrum, he is fair, he is an arse, but he is fair.Is it against the rules to have the same man administrate different boards? I think you could do worse than ask him to bail you lot out here.The mods here obviously cannot cope and Jim is sick to fucking death of them and us.Ask him Jim.He likes and respects you, his time may be short, but hes the guy to sort it out for you, instead of all these daft new rules which in effect mean you are having to do it all yourself.:cool:

I am extremely happy with the staff here and the efforts they put forth. If you disagree with a decision they make, you shoot me a PM, and if I feel the decision was incorrect I will make things right. Just about every single action you see happening on this board by staff is not only backed by me, but done so at my direction.

The moderation here is few and far between. Lately we have been taking a few steps to reign in the chaos, but all in all I believe this is one of the least restrictive boards out there.

You will always find some that love staff, and some that think they stink. Generally those who don't like staff happen to be those who were recently on the end of a decision they disagree with.

As for other boards, if they have a great admin and are doing things right, kudos to them. But I don't base what I do here on what others do elsewhere. The 2 others I am most familiar with are Gunny and Damocles. I think very highly of both, think both are quite intelligent, both are quite fair - but that is their boards and this one is mine.

Nah, Roomy's ok, he always cracks me up. I picture him as a younger Psycho!

As for USMB, you know I'll always have a special place for it as I had a lot to do with it getting to where it is. And while I have no love lost for some members there, out of respect to Gunny I think we should leave that discussion off the board. He's given me that very same courtesy and has always been helpful with me.
