To nationalize the oil industry?

Soon, I hope.

I don't think people WILL start rioting, they will simply change their behaviors, which will reduce demand.

I don't drive and the buses are now JAMMED in the morning and after work. Almost reminds me of trains in places like Indian and China during rush hour. INSANE. People fighting over seats and moving to the back. :laugh2:

Oh yes, gas jumped .06 over night!

I don't think so either...truckers may strike..riots?..I doubt it, unless there is no gas at any price. In that case I'll join in, since WE have so much in this country we just can't drill for due to....?

you forgot water, that is next. the "poor" in this country are upper middle class in most of the world, yet, they yearn for socialism, for the the government to take care of them. it is not only the poor, it is the bleeding hearts who must do what is "fair." why should "fair" be forced? why must doing what is "right" be forced by the government? they will say the greater good yada yada.....

ask them about keeping marriage....anal sex, now that must be protected

Speculators are driving-up the price of oil. I'm not a speculator.

Why don't you move to Russia or China or Venezuela? You would fit in perfectly, you would be an ideal little subject.

Keep raising the prices I say. Four bucks now, 5 next week, then 6. This country needs a slap in the face the way it's behaving. We haven't built a nuke or a refinery in 30 years. We don't allow drilling on any coast unless its a small portion of the Gulf of Mexico. Congress has enacted "energy legislation" annually for the last 30 years which has done nothing except to restrict supplies. There is a good chance that an all-out socialist will be the next Prez.

Go to 7 bucks. Then 8, then 10. Then 20 bucks. Maybe then people will tell these environmentalist/ liberals/ commies to SHUT UP or take a bullet.
