This picture was taken 5 months ago at my daughter's wedding.
Clarisa and I already had celebrated our tenth anniversary.
I think just maybe , she thinks me to be a keeper...;)
She is smiling so big because I had just told her,
" darling tonight I am gonna rip that pretty dress off you as soon as we get home"! And trust me I did but was O' so careful not to rip anything..

Awesome picture and what a great looking couple! Is that the steps of a cruise ship? Or what fancy place are you guys at?

Largest church in Memphis. Wedding chapel ... huge building , huge complex... As big as some small colleges.
Picture is taken only about an hour after I had to take double dose of my meds because my high blood pressure had flared up really high.
I clean up pretty good for a 60 year old with a 32 year old...Her beauty always casts me in a dim light.. ;)
We were introduced to a friend's grandmother there that asked was Clarisa another daughter of mine!! Man, did she get a really big kick out of that one!!
Justin is just off to the right taking pictures with his Sissy dressed in his little tux!!! Photographer crew there were fabulous! -Tyr

Well after putting up the fence we decided to have a little fire pit in the pool area. We have a big one in the back yard so we went with a small propane one. thought it turned out pretty good..

Well I certainly don't have a full head of hair like I did in my 20's but I have a pony tail and my beard is a bit to long and my mustache is braided and hangs about 6 inches down below my beard, so I probably have more hair now anyway. :laugh:

The bars are actually comfortable as can be Jim, I am actually in the process of putting a air compressor and 10" shocks on my other bike ( so the shocks can be adjusted ) heck a buddy of mine built blocks to go under his bike, when he gets ready to stop he hits the switch and drops the bike all the way down and it sits on the blocks, no need for a kick stand. :laugh: And then I will put 14" Apes on that bike, the ones in this photo are 16" with a 2" riser.

The point is - I've been conducting a plenty of face-to-face job interviews when in service and after my retirement. My question is caused by my professional interest, as everything has been changed so greatly, and the gap between our countries, unfortunately, is becoming wider and wider.

I love the apes, they are 16 inch with 2 inch risers, On my Electra Glide I am putting either 12 or 14 inch on it, probably the 12, that will make then shoulder height, the ones on this bike yea to long of ride and its no good but this is my loud and proud in town bike, :laugh: The other bike is the long distance bike.

Did you talk to them about why you wouldn't want to work in that department? Sometimes a polite explanation, perhaps they can place you elsewhere? I don't blame you for turning down that area. I understand jobs aren't a dime a dozen these days, but I wouldn't work at that position if I were vegan/vegetarian either.

The First impression gives you a 90% of the possible success. The rest of interview is in your hands. Either you improve your chances, or loose.
But... after "enlistment", should you succeed, your Nature and skills will surface. Nobody is able to hide them without advanced individual training. But this is another long story, not for this very case. :salute:

The interviewer knew i was vegan, and offered to cancel the interview as she said the only job left was for the meat and fish counter, but i lead her to believe that it was not an issue for me, in order to have the interview. I'll find out in the next week or so if successful but i expect not to be, if i am successful i'll decline the offer so it can go to someone else, but i wasn't going to throw away a chance at an interview.

Lol. It was more the fact that I kept turning into my dad's historical interpreter. We went to all these places with castles, and I'd be explaining about various parts of the place, like how these holes along the ramparts weren't degredation, they were placed specifically so that things such as boiling oIL or flaming pitch could be poured down, or explaining murder hole in the barbican. It's probably the longest set of conversations we've ever had.

I was difficult in more of the way of tending to read way, way ahead of the class, or once going off on a rant about having to read yet more ex-patriate novels. I just couldn't take it anymore. They were so fucking BORING, and depressing. I mean, my God, Shakespeare repeatedly murdered his entire cast, and at LEAST it was entertaining. It likely didn't help that my teacher at the time was OBSESSED with the ex-patriate, and my summation of the plot of every one of their novels broke down to "don't try to do anything great. You'll just fail hard, and even if you somehow manage to "better" yourself, life will go out of its way to completely destroy everything you've built up for yourself, until you are back where you started or worse." Needless to say our interpretations of the material were... different. In fairness, I did admit that the writing was great, but the horrific plots and characters just couldn't be saved.

Nope, not that I know of anyway.

Wildwood was great when I was younger. So was Seaside, but that place has gotten bad. :(

I'm fairly confident, as owner and administrator here, that some will say I'm good looking even if I were 5'2, 290, covered in zits, bald... But I do know that, I think at least, that I was "better" back then. Age gets us all!!

How about some ugly pics that most wouldn't post? I prefer to have showered, or at least combed my hair. But I figure if I'm a Rick's cabin for a week or more, with only an outdoor portable shower. So a quick one in the summer, or NONE in the winter when it's 10 below out! LOL So this must be what poor Rick and Sharon had to see in the mornings when I literally crawled out of bed a broken man daily!! :)

I am the least photogenic in the world. My Dad did the photography thing growing up and had his own darkroom in the basement and a made shift studio type setup. I was a guinea pig for about 10,000 pictures and hated it ever since.

Driving a 2018 Mustang convertible. So - of 'course top is down 85% of the time. Today driving through Yellowstone, with windchill at 45mph, it was 15 degrees. I didn't bring a coat - have a fleece, hooded T, a shamag from iraq, seat heaters and heat on high.

Harriman State Park in Idaho, but actually I believe it is the same person. He was a railroad guy from New York. Harriman Park use to be a cattle ranch, the family gave it to the state in the 70's. It is within the Island Park area were I have some land. About 30 minutes from Yellowstone.

I wana go to Yellowstone badly! My Dad just bought a trailer recently and is getting her all ready and the maiden trip may very well be out there.

Holy Doodle that would be a long haul with a trailer, but I have a spot about 30 minutes from the West gate. I leave my campers there in the summer. Have to bring them home in the fall, the snow would crush them in the winter.

Yellowstone was pretty busy this year. That was somewhere people could go with a little bit of normalcy. And I have to say it was nice not have bus loads of Chinese come through all summer long this past year.
