you right....meat is murder....tasty tasty murder...mmmmmm

"Kitchen aromas arent very homely
Its not comforting, cheery or kind
Its sizzling blood and the unholy stench
Of murder
Its not natural, normal or kind
The flesh you so fancifully fry
The meat in your mouth
As you savour the flavour
Of murder"

"Splains a lot. Now how is biofuels murder?
What does it explain?
I have put biofuels cus they are in a different way, land that use to produce grain and staple crop are now used to make biofuels, this has help push up the prices of grain world wide, pushing those on the brink into starvation, and these people are staving because we want cheaper gas at the pump...sickening, therefore Biofuel is murder :)

In the case or corn ethanol I agree with you, but not to the extent of murder. Bio-diesel, however, is made from waste oils. Likewise methane can be produced by anaerobic digestion of waste organics. These technologies divert material away from landfills, and any residue remaining makes excellent fertilizer to grow more crops. Therefore one could more easily advocate that to oppose biofuels is murder. :poke:

How about nuclear energy. Is that murder also?

Asperger’s syndrome is a developmental disorder in which people have severe difficulties understanding how to interact socially.

People with Asperger's syndrome have some traits of autism, especially weak social skills and a preference for sameness and routine. But unlike those with autism, children with Asperger's syndrome usually start to talk around 2 years of age (the age at which speech normally develops). They have normal to above-normal intelligence.

ntroduction

Asperger's syndrome is a developmental disorder that affects a child's ability to socialize and communicate effectively with others. Children with Asperger's syndrome typically exhibit social awkwardness and an all-absorbing interest in specific topics.

Doctors group Asperger's syndrome with four other conditions that are called autistic spectrum disorders or pervasive developmental disorders. These disorders all involve problems with social skills and communication. Asperger's syndrome is generally thought to be at the milder end of this spectrum.

Conservative estimates indicate that two out of every 10,000 children have Asperger's, and boys are three to four times as likely as girls to have the disorder. While there is no cure for Asperger's syndrome, treatment can help children learn how to interact more successfully with their peers.

red eye. Its very hard to take a flash pic of a dog without it due to the way their lenses are designed.

It's actually their retinas and mine in my left eye is similar in structure. I get redeye in every picture I take because of it.

Be careful with that haircut, though, let it grow a couple more inches and you've got yourself a mullet!

My oldest sons eyes are that way almost identical to Kates. Chicks dig it. He's a salesman and when he is close to making a sell with a woman and looks like she's on the fence he takes off his glasses and keeps them talking. It draws attention to his eyes when he takes his glasses off and he usually closes the sale if they comment on his eyes.

While there is no cure for Asperger's syndrome, treatment can help children learn how to interact more successfully with their peers.

http://i514.photobucket.com/albums/t345/Southernmanpics/FranconiaNotch1895.jpg"Being old" is relative to the age of the person judging you...People on the internet who see my pic usually refer to me as old, especially when they dissagree with me.

The young assume the old know nothing of the new when you dissagree with them...The age of the person contradicting them becomes a key defense for their argument.

Most young people today are the product of liberal media bombardment and political correctness programming and common sense and rational thought are totally alien to them.

"Being old" is relative to the age of the person judging you...People on the internet who see my pic usually refer to me as old, especially when they dissagree with me.

The young assume the old know nothing of the new when you dissagree with them...The age of the person contradicting them becomes a key defense for their argument.

Most young people today are the product of liberal media bombardment and political correctness programming and common sense and rational thought are totally alien to them.

That was back in 1985. I wouldn't do that today since I learned the hard way a few years ago that your reflexes aren't like they used to be. Plus if you do get an injury it takes a lot longer to recover.

I hear you, friend, about the youngin's and the arguments tactics. I see that as a sign of immaturity on their part. That's why I don't advertise my age for the most part.

That would be kettle and black. You tend to seriously cage folks. You basically hammered on Martin for not believing as you. Yet, you'd freak at an evangelical doing the same.

News for you. My guess is there are a few Evangelicals that would say I'm as anti as one can get. Yet, never have I advocated bashing those that believe or do not.

I did not bash martin, he made some points, like god said being gay was 'wrong wrong wrong' so i asked why he didn't think other things in the bible, like the women being scilent one was 'right right right'
He also said that no matter what anyone says, what is in the bible is what he believes, and then went onto say that he believes what April tells him to interpret from it,
I don't see where the bashing comes into it,

and also my point to Hogwash was about him moaning about people judging his views as invalid because of his age, have you ever seen any posts like that on here? Cus i haven't, but i know for a fact he's posted plenty of replies to me, second guessing my views on abortion, to name one, baised purly on my age, shall we say, hogwash hypocrite?

I'm not trying to change anyones point of view, martin made what were pretty odd comments in my book, so i questioned him on it, and like a page later the truth of the matter was reviled,

And anyway, why should religion be some untouchable holy grail that can not be debated and discussed, if someome makes a comment like 'god says this in the bible so its wrong wrong wrong' may i not ask about other parts of the bible that are not considered 'wrong wrong wrong' without being deemed a 'basher'?

I agree with you in the sense that Martin makes sometimes bold statements on many subjects not just religion and sometimes you have to question and clarify with him, and even then, a few days later he sometimes will do an about face and recant or renounce everything. So while it may come off to other posters as maybe cruel or being mean, your probably just trying to clarify what exactly martins position is in that moment and why. I mean martin does make statements that come off rude to people that oppose that opinion, so its fair to question his opinion since he changes it frequently.

Look its simple beans as far as i see it, if someone makes an odd comment (in this case martain) on a topic (in this case relgion) then obviously i'm gonna ask about it, surly thats what forums are all about, and i like to think i go about ask questions and defending my own position in a reasonably respectful manor, unlike some on the board, and so to be called out for bashing is somewhat new to me,

Edit; if i may also add, i wasn't forcing him to say anything, i asked him questions, he replied, if he really wanted to he coould of ignored the questions, or simply said "sorry its a private matter i don't want to discus it" You can hardly suggest i am in the wrong for asking questions on a politicial message board =/

I would hardly say i'm an 'evangelical atheist' but maybe thats the way i come across, i dunno, i think maybe the problem lies in the fact that i like to ask allot of questions, and what with this being an american board most of my comments are reserved for moral debate so most of my posts are prob about religion, which may make it apear to be my raison detre, when its not.

As i've said before, anyone can believe in whatever they want, there are things about religions i disagree with, like putting children into faith schools, but that is not the same and preaching atheism, and saying that everyone should be atheist.

I guess you are NOT American. See, here we say you may or may not put your children in 'faith' school. You may or not put your child in any myriad of 'private' schools, religious based or not. Then again, you might, as the majority do, put them into the public schools.

On Sat or Sun you may or may not go to a religious service. You may or may not be religious/spiritual/unsure.

You may surely be non-religious, even antagonistic towards. I think that's where you fall, Noir.

And thats all fine, if an adult choses to spend their saturdays doing whatever thats fair enough, its when they chose, and thus force, their children to go to a faith school which i disagree with, but there are topics to this, and i'm sure this one has been de-railed more than enough,

And what of the rights of the child?
For example, a child growing up in the middle east today will be taught Islam from the day the can understand, brainwashed by school, and taught that by leaving their religion they can be murdered ect, or what of the child that grows up with the knowledge that they can go to hell ect ect, through no fault of their own these children are born into a way of life. I ahve no doubt that if i were born in Iran i would be a Muslim now, or if i was born in a village in Nepal i would believe in the JuJu up the mountain. To force religion upon children is wrong IMO, whenever they are adults, let them believe whatever they want, but don't ship them into faith schools at 4 years old,
