He's saying the surge in Iraq is working and it does seem to be.

Look I don't like that war anymore than most people. But, we destroyed their gov. and we owe it to the hardworking population over there to try to get their gov back on track. Again it seems to be working, their police and army forces are taking more of a lead position with our guys standing in the background.

The Sunni and Shiite factions seem to be talking and trusting each other instead of just blowing each other up.

When McCain said we'll could be in the country another 100 yrs, the MSM took it out of context. He was saying, we are still in Germany and Japan there is no war there and there are no casualties, it was edited out.

If Obama is elected and he chooses to cut and run than Iraq will be a threat in the future. We do owe it to the people stay until their gov has established itself, otherwise the extremists will continue to bomb and devide the country.
