this thread is not about the "why", for the why makes gore look like an idiot, just a fun thread showing that when man had little impact on the environment, it was hot as well

possibly hotter or not as hot due to the level of accuracy of the equipment used at the time.....

if one does not know the difference between "weather" and "climate", it must be difficult to add anything of value to the discussion....or so it would seem.

so other than your pithy insults, you do have something that shows the climate is as al gore says, getting hotter... you do have something that backs up his religion of global warming... you do have something to support his pockets as he gets wealthier off fools who believe his tripe

no of course not, all you have are insults

it is called global climate change now.......which means if the weather is normal in most places......like rainy in england at the summer solitics.....except for the fact this same week in 1976 i was playing in 90 degree heat in england.....but lets not let facts get in the way of a diversionary discussion of the meaning of words prevent us from responding to actual facts....

yes, facts do not belong in gore's party or the dem's party, they are a party of emotions and fear

looking at a day in 2008 and comparing it to the same day in 1976 and attempting to use the comparison to debunk the theory of global warming is pretty clear evidence that someone does not understand the difference between weather and climate.

HMMMM, 1970's wasn't that when we were heading into an ice age? Or was that the 80's?

Why is it called Greenland if it's covered in ice? Could be that it was green at one time? Like maybe for 500 years it was green. HMMM another one of the curious things to set aside for the sake of the global warming Hysteria.

No matter what is happening to our climate, Al Gore cannot change it. This is all a scheme to take our money. Carbon taxes :fu:

Greenland Look up Greenland at Dictionary.com
O.N. Groenland, so named by its discoverer (986 C.E.) because "it would induce settlers to go there, if the land had a good name": "Hann gaf nafn landinu ok kallaði Groenland, ok kvað menn þat myndu fysa þangat farar, at landit ætti nafn gott." [Islendingabok, 1122-1133]
