Just in time for the election, Dems (and scared RINO's) are coming up with new ways to spend our money
The additional spending will not actually accomplish anything, but their "good intentions" is what matters
Dems craft a populist summer plan

With the Fourth of July looming, House Democrats are rolling out domestic spending bills — and soon an airline passenger bill of rights — in what might be called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “We-R-U” midsummer Congress.
The passenger bill, which the speaker will call up after the holiday recess, is an unapologetic attempt to position lawmakers on the side of harried travelers. In the same vein, the House Appropriations Committee is slated to report seven bills by Friday, with an impact on 11 Cabinet departments and a host of voter concerns from education and health care to immigration enforcement, veterans’ medical care and science.
Considering the billions in added spending, Republicans might counter that Pelosi’s House is better dubbed “We-R-Your Money.” But the pressure for action is real, as seen in a lopsided 355-59 floor vote Tuesday endorsing a Democratic plan to forestall a scheduled 10 percent cut in Medicare reimbursements for physicians, due to take effect next week.
The White House and Republican leadership took a beating, as the physicians’ lobby weighed in and 129 Republicans broke ranks to back the measure offered by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.).
The wide margin stunned the Senate, where Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) signaled that he would attempt to call up the House bill and no longer wait to see the outcome of bipartisan negotiations led by Rangel’s counterpart, Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.).
