I think people should be daring, passionate, and say what they really think and feel.

Instead of worrying if people will be mad at them, judge them, not like.

Put yourself out their, politically speaking and just go for it.

It makes for better debate in my opinion

what do you think?

I agree, Martin. I think most of us do just that. Never let anyone tell you how to post.

I understood Martin to be talking about content and passion, not flaming. IMO, anyone who continually resorts to base language doesn't have control of their emotions, and probably has no argument either. :)

Oh yes. Let's encourage Martin to post more poorly thought out, mentally unbalanced posts and threads. Don't ever change your posting style Martin, I love reading about why you 'dislike' muslims, women, liberals etc over and over and over and over and over. Why don't you post more videos? DON'T ever stop doing that. Woo. Hoo.

I think Martin is trying his best; he just thinks differently than most. And Jim encourages a very wide-open board.

Martin is who he is, and I don't really see the point in people getting riled up over his posts. Do you really think that insulting him, and telling him to stop posting is going to change him?

thank you abbey.

My basic style is always trying to make a point.

Sometimes I talk out of anger, and that is not good i admit, but people never really give me anything constructive, they just tear me down and then expect me to listen to them.

Honestly, it's just frustrating to have a discussion with Martin, think you've gotten through to him, have him say that he agrees with you, then two weeks later, it's like you never said anything at all.

I mean, really, does anybody want to debate Martin on homosexuality? How many times has he said "I'm pro-gay now" only to have him rescind a couple weeks later and decide he hates "faggots" again? Or Muslims, or women, or porn, etc. etc. etc.

I'm not saying Martin needs to be banned, but it makes the board look bad for everyone to consistently fall for his flip-flopping.
