Jesse Jackson offered to surgically remove the testicles of Barrack Obama yesterday. Why would that not be HUGE news in the media. Today, the only place you can find it is on Fox. Hell they had to capture it themselves too.

 Jesse Jackson

:laugh2: Barack Obma

:pee: Democrats

I assume this is a rhetorical question, Emmett. ;)

Well, it sort of speaks for itself, doesn't it?

I mean, after you hear him say that, what more is there to say?

Aside from that Jesse Jackson is finally starting to line up with most mainstream white men, that is.

The liberal media is talking about it - but they are defending JJ's remarks. Of course if a white guy had said it, the liberal media would be coming after him with hot tar and feathers

ABC Tries to Understand Jackson's 'Colorful,' 'Cut His Nuts Off' Obama Remark
By Scott Whitlock (Bio | Archive)
July 10, 2008 - 12:59 ET

Over the course of three segments, various "Good Morning America" reporters and hosts attempted to understand and explain away Reverend Jesse Jackson's vulgar assertion that he would like "to cut [Senator Barack Obama's] nuts off." During the show open, co-host Diane Sawyer referred to the comments, made while Jackson was prepping to do an interview on Thursday and not aware his mic was on, as "colorful and cutting remarks."

Co-host Chris Cuomo interviewed the reverend and bizarrely insisted, "Clearly, you're a big supporter of Barack Obama..." Clearly? Again, Jackson's assertion was that he would enjoy cutting the "nuts" off the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Would a conservative be given such leeway in dismissing any consideration of real anger? The ABC program acted as though Jackson's meaning and intent were unclear. During a second segment, which featured "This Week" host George Stephanopoulos discussing the issue, an ABC graphic read, "Jackson vs. Obama: What Did Jesse Jackson Mean?"

Jackson's violent, derogatory comment is given a pass, but when we on here simply say we don't support Obama, we are labelled racist. Do the libs really wonder why they have no crediblilty?

"colorful and cutting remarks."

"Cutting" remarks, yes. But Jesse didn't refer to the COLOR of the nuts!!

One supposes that part of his body would be brown............................................. ....

But I have to admit to lacking expert status on that question.

I think it's time for us all to stop being allergic to the word "racist."

We give them too much power by being afraid of that word.

There is serious stuff going on, and it needs to be discussed openly. Calling people "racist" is a timeworn way to stop all discussion of race. But we don't have to obey that.

No argument here, but the hypocrisy really cannot be denied.

One of the positive side effects of this sad presidential campaign, may be that the race card will be played so much, it will lose whatever power it still has.

Will not happen Abbey

If the messiah wins, anytime anyone opposes his policies they will be called a racist

If he loses, the excuse that will be used is, Amercia is a racist country

Yes, but we don't have to care.

We don't have to give the word power.

We can say what we think no matter how much they hysterically yell the word "racist," until they realize it doesn't work anymore.

Then maybe they'll have to deal with the real issues, which are serious and bad problems in this country.

That's fine for us on a message board, but in the real world, people are villified, and even fired for the slightest remark. Unless they are black, of course. (Hence the hypocrisy). The consequences are too real to just say we can ignore it and it will go away. For that to work, employers, judges, and the media would have to just ignore it, too.

Good point.

But a message board is a start.

Yes.
I think people on this board do take racial accusations made here with a grain of salt, and continue to post as they wish regardless. But what goes on in the world is a different story. :salute:

the real issue is pepole don't use the word correctly......it means thinking one race is superior to another simply because of race and no other factor......
