The global warming nuts never stop with their insane rants.

Got kidney stones? Blame global warming, study says

The next time you feel a sharp, cramping pain in your lower abdomen, spare a thought for your personal carbon footprint.

That's the message from Dallas scientists who predict that as the planet warms during the coming century, people will sweat more, not drink enough water to compensate, and therefore develop more kidney stones.

The prevalence of kidney stones may rise by 30 percent or more in some U.S. areas if global temperatures rise as forecast by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the scientists found.

"This is really the first direct human health impact of climate change that has been demonstrated," said the study's lead author, Tom Brikowski, a University of Texas at Dallas professor of geosciences.

The study, in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, has some caveats.

It assumes the world will indeed warm, a trend contested by at least a handful of scientists.

It also assumes that computer model predictions for regional warming, such as a 4-degree average increase for the southeastern United States by 2050, are reliable. More scientists question the validity of such regional predictions

I'm sure the instances of kidney stones is HIGHER, but it probably has more to do with fudge brownie blizzards and chillie cheese dogs from the local DQ.

In recent weeks I have articles saying clean air causes global warming, and how your TV sets contributes to global warming

Again, the enviro wackos keep providing great material

So you don't think bad nutrition combined with warming tempertures won't contribute to poor health? Not to mention increasing lack of mobility due to the above. We're all headed for the fat farm. I think there is some sort of alien conspiracy happening. They're messing with our environment and trying to fatten us up for something?

Global warming has NOTHING to do with kidney stones. It is more BS from the enviro wackos so they can take more of your money and flush it down the rat hole of "saving the planet"

So, you think there is no impact on human health as a result of global warming? :laugh2:

Since there is no global warming how can there be an impact on human health?

Of course if you really believe the doom and gloomers here is your future

The earth IS changing, the causes are inconclusive. Irregardless of that, where there is warming or cooling, it will eventually have impacts on human health.

Of course if you really believe the doom and gloomers here is your future

What doom and gloomers here?

Speaking of money, the enviro wackos say it wil take about $15 trillion to fix the "problem" of global warming
