What does he need with all these high powered lawyers? It’s only a little inquiry as to what actually happened.


What a small world. Sen. Pete Domenici (R-NM) has nabbed Lee Blalack, best known as Duke Cunningham's lawyer, to represent him in the Senate ethics investigation, The Washington Post reports.

Might just want to move this down to the steel cage already and have it out since it doesn't seem to be any sort of non-inflamatory conversation coming from Psychs here.

As for why the Senator might want a high powered attorney, I can think of plenty of reasons. I could think of several if i were in his shoes: To protect my rights, to look after my interests, to keep my good name clear.

In fact, why wouldnt any politician or famous person want a good lawyer to look out for their interests?
