Are libs getting worried? I was shocked to see the DNC Times ran this op-ed

Where’s the Landslide?

Why isn’t Barack Obama doing better? Why, after all that has happened, does he have only a slim two- or three-point lead over John McCain, according to an average of the recent polls? Why is he basically tied with his opponent when his party is so far ahead?

His age probably has something to do with it. So does his race. But the polls and focus groups suggest that people aren’t dismissive of Obama or hostile to him. Instead, they’re wary and uncertain.

That does not count. You voted for a black conservative - you know a sellout and Uncle Tom

Now you have to prove you are not a racist by voting for the black liberal

That's basically the response I get from libs. How did you know? Are you controlling them?

I have been dealing with libs and their BS since I was in high school Social Studies with a Peanut Carterbot as a teacher

I know what they are going to say before they say it

I guess in less pc times, he'd be called a mulatto. I personally find it fine that he wishes to be considered black. I don't have a problem with that. I find him claiming to be representative of blacks as a whole, disingenuous, since several of his grandparents and both of his parents were Phd's, but never mind that. :laugh2:

As far as his race, I have a split personality on the issue

Half of me does not care, and the other half does not give a shit

He is a tax and spend liberal and that is why I will not vote for him

I remember when Carter came on TV in a cardigan sweater and said we had a malaise and it was our fault that we didn't conserve energy.........

My then-husband, though a Democrat, was furious, called it Carter's "shiver in the dark" speech.

We're always going to like a can-do guy better than a maybe-we'd-better-cut-back guy.

Oh, lord, I know she's mean and vicious and I hate myself, but that IS funny!

And it even sort of works. At some point, I'm going to have to have two gin-and-tonics and really think about it.
