Sen. John McCain, R-Az.,volunteered his wife for a beauty pageant on Monday that often features contestants topless at the Sturgis, South Dakota, motorcycle rally.

"I was looking at the Sturgis schedule, and noticed that you had a beauty pageant, so I encouraged Cindy to compete," McCain told an audience at the rally. "I told her [that] with a little luck, she could be the only woman to serve as both the First Lady and Miss Buffalo Chip."

Nice editing job, where you carefully removed the words "possibly unknowingly" from the story just before the word "volunteered". The words appear in the story you linked to, but were gone by the time you hit the "Post" button.

But you should have left the space after the comma. Your forgery would have been almost undetectable then.

That aside, a pretty complete smear job. You should be proud.

Yeah, I'm okay with that, too. And you KNOW I'm a hardliner about feminism.

But ......I liked it. God knows he's said a lot worse things about his wife. http://macg.net/emoticons/smilebow.gif

Whatever McCain said about his wife - it can't be as bad as what Bill has said and done to Hillary

what c * & t episode?

In his book The Real McCain, author Cliff Schecter claims that John McCain made extremely ugly remarks about his wife Cindy McCain during a tirade witnessed by three reporters and two aides. "At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, 'You're getting a little thin up there,'" Schechter writes. "McCain's face reddened, and he responded, 'At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you ****.' McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days." source (http://www.drudge.com/archive/106692/author-mccain-called-wife-****-trollop)
