Pundits Begin to Worry About Obama

Former cheerleaders express concern over who the "man behind the curtain" really is.
August 6, 2008 - by Jennifer Rubin

In the aftermath of Barack Obama’s overseas trip, the liberal punditocracy has begun to fret. Certainly there is reason for concern. Obama’s poll numbers are within the margin of error in a year in which a generic Democrat would be beating a generic Republican by double digits. And the storylines which dominated the news since the trip have been ones unfavorable to their chosen candidate: his ego, the snub of wounded U.S. soldiers in Germany, a potential flip-flop on offshore drilling and a poorly received attempt to play the race card....

Lots of links, even a Dana Millbank quote at site.

the man behind the curtain....a subconscious reference to his socialist/communist leanings.

i am not surprised this is happening. the dem party was stupid to turn their back hillary over this upstart. the party and the vast majority of its members were so obsessed with 'change' that they threw hillary under the bus because of her last name. she has far more accomplishments than obama and stands stronger on foreign policy, including iraq - which obama has essentially made his "now" platform after he turned his back on his campaign promise to remove troops - regardless - in 16 months.

Thats funny because he is constantly accusing Republicans of trying to scare people because of his "funny name".
