It has been a long 7 months, but a new season starts with the exhibition game between New Orleans at Arizona

I know, I know, I should be drummed out of blokedom for that. But it's expensive here. If I could only get ESPN and CMT, oh okay, CNN, BBC and perhaps a few other news channels I'd be okay but the buggers here make you sign up for crap you don't want and then I have to pay extra for ESPN for the NFL.

Anyway the Rams will probably go belly-up again.

Decisions, decisions. :laugh2:

Sorry to hear that. You might have to break down and get a dish. Cut back on your beer and pay up :laugh2:

I don't get to see the Seahawks in action until 10:30p tonite :( AND i'll likely have to suffer through the Vikings' broadcast team. :(

...but the Seahawks broadcast team is the best. All others pale in comparison. :(

I am looking forward to the Skins season. Maybe this year they will make it deep into the playoffs

With Zorn there, I have high Hopes. He's a VERY HIGH quality guy.

:)

I'm a skins fan - until they face the Seahawks.

Pre-season games don't count and are barely relevant to the actual NFL season. No reason to get excited about them.

It gives a chance for the starters to loosen up, and the rookies to show what they can do

Positions are fought for, and the games are sometimes worth watching

Here's a wee video from a group called PicnicFace, quiet funny IMO,

All I know is our local channel pre-empted the chamionship game of Jeopardy for this. Not even for the game, but for pre-game, pre-season chit chat. Unbelievable. I think I will write to the station and give them an email-full.

It's nice to see all the "hopefuls" in here once again at the beginning of the season. Waving your colors and logos as if your shitty teams actually have a shot this year. You're all gonna be very disappointed! LOL

Except for me and my Steelers anyway!! :finger3:

All I know is I can't be part of the pool, I've not a clue how to bet. My dad did that for me, and as I remember, I kicked ass, (well he did, but he didn't post).
