The family of John Edwards' former mistress, Rielle Hunter, is challenging the former senator to take a DNA paternity test after his claim that he did not father Hunter's 6-months-old child.

In the first reaction from Hunter's family, her younger sister Melissa told ABC News that Edwards should immediately follow through on his pledge to take a paternity test.

"I would challenge him to do so," the sister said.

"Somebody must stand up and defend my sister," she said. "I wish that those involved would refrain from bad-mouthing my sister."

I heard him say he would, but then J F Kerry said he would release "ALL" of his military records too. I don't recall that happening.

My guess is any test will have to be court ordered before it happens.

Yep, he may have gone too far, saying he didn't love her, etc. Woman scorned and all that. Notice what he IS saying, 'Yeah, I boinked her, didn't love her. Wasn't my kid. Yeah, I met with her at a Hollywood hotel recently, yeah talked on the phone. Few other meetings, didn't love her, not my kid.' So, bottom line, she was screwing others while seeing him. Oh yeah, he's seen her, but heh, he told his wife, the pillar of his campaign, back in 2006.

She 'cheated on him, while he was cheating on his wife.' That's the implication, she's just a cheap slut who appealed to his narcissism. He's asking for understanding and well you know, she's a slut.

I'm not saying she isn't. The question though, was that staffer taking the 'blame' when the story first broke, which was when Edwards was still running? That staffer and his family were moved by a Chicago connection/lawyer to I believe Calf.

John Edwards: More Human Than Human
Former presidential candidate and son of mill worker, John Edwards, announced last week that he had a "liason" with a member of his campaign staff. It took great courage for Edwards to admit that he did something "wrong" after he was caught red-handed doing it. He only kept it a secret this long in order to protect his wife and kids from shame and embarrassment. If the sensationalist neocons at the National Enquirer had cared as much about Edwards' family as he does, he'd still be banging Reille Hunter in total secrecy.

But don't worry - although he had a "liason" with Hunter and possibly fathered a grandson of a mill worker, he doesn't love her. That would have been like "cheating" on his wife, and he's not a slimeball, you know. He's a human being, and human beings make human mistakes. In fact, the more such mistakes John Edwards makes, the more human he is. Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson, and John Edwards are probably the most human people on Earth right now.

Compare them to George W. Bush. If the Shrub ever cheated on his wife, he's probably not cheating on her RIGHT now, and that only proves how inhuman he really is.
