Dean is pretty much right. What percentage of GOP faithful do you think is non-white?

And how can Dean be labeled a "traitor" and McCain not be?
McCain's VP choice should be Jane Fonda. Since they think alike.

how many blacks served in bubba's cabinet? zero. two in Bush's, but the repubs are the racist party and white party :poke:

the entire issue as to who votes for who is a non issue when it comes to who actually walks the walk...dems give handouts to get votes, republicans teach them how to fish and give them high ranking positions.

Exactly. In fact, I don't see how anyone can take issue with Dean. Republicons have sought-out the support of racists since Nixon's "southern strategy." Why would anyone who isn't white want to be a member or a party like that?

Powell and Rice?

They were tokens. At lower levels, very few blacks find anything of value in the Republicon party.

Did you see the Black Republican Association gig on C-Span yesterday, JS? There was like 12 or 15 there and most of them were speakers or white. But, they had their talking points down pat right down to the lie about drill, drill, drill to bring down the price of gas!!!!!!! It was an incredible show!!!!!!!

Any working person, especially any black working person, that can find favor or value in the republican party is simply beyond my comprehension. Somebody clue me in to the attraction?!?!?!?!?!?!?

you are a moron...bubba had zero, but that the repubs had any, you dismiss and then complain about "few" blacks find anything of value in the party...that is irrelevant as i said, the dems have bought them with handouts...just because a majority of the people believe a party is right (hint: the germans) does NOT make the party right. actions speak louder than words and the repubs have spoke loud and clear...

colin powell was a FOUR star general, National Security Advisor, Chairmen of the JCOS, and the United States Secretary of State (first black to do so)

you think those are token positions or that he was a token? you are a fool that has allowed your hatred to blind your reasoning.

Most libs like Joe show their racist side with all conservative blacks. A liberal friend of mine told me today, the blacks he talks to consider them traitors and sell outs

This from the party that claims to wnat to stamp out racism where ever they find it. I guess they will so only when racism is leveled at black liberals

You'll always find a few blacks willing to sell-out. For the most part, though, blacks have no reason to be Republicons.

Dems tell blacks they can't make it without the Dem partt, and quotas. Why should any black person want to make it on their won when they can have things handed to them on a silver platter. That is how libs see blacks - victims

Exactly, why would they want to become successful contributors to society when they can be held down by the Democrats for all these years getting tossed some welfare and food stamps to keep them hanging on. It says a lot about a race of people that continue to make the same mistakes for decades believing what a bunch of sleazy white Democrats promise them.

Try looking up Professor Thomas Sowell ........." joined the Marine Corps and became a photographer in the Korean War. After leaving the service, Sowell entered Harvard University, worked a part-time job as a photographer and studied the science that would become his passion and profession: economics.

After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University (1958), he went on to receive his master's in economics from Columbia University (1959) and a doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago (1968).

In the early '60s, Sowell held jobs as an economist with the Department of Labor and AT&T. But his real interest was in teaching and scholarship. In 1965, at Cornell University, he began the first of many professorships. His other teaching assignments include Rutgers University, Amherst University, Brandeis University and the University of California at Los Angeles, where he taught in the early '70s and also from 1984 to 1989."

or Professor Walter Williams........."Walter E. Williams holds a bachelor's degree in economics from California State University (1965) and a master's degree (1967) and doctorate (1972) in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.

In 1980, he joined the faculty of George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., and is currently the John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics. He has also served on the faculties of Los Angeles City College (1967-69), California State University (1967-1971) and Temple University (1973-1980). From 1963 to 1967, he was a group supervisor of juvenile delinquents for the Los Angeles County Probation Department."

Read what these great men have to say about the subject........ they also just happen to be the favorite substitutes for Rush when he is on vacation, his audience loves them. Try to educate yourself kid.

You are absolutely right. Why would a black want to be a republican?

Well....maybe one who is more concerned about protecting his rights to keep and have what he has earned for himself and his family.

A Black who actually proud to be an American and is willing to contribute his share to being an integral part of that society.

Ah.....A black who is proud of being black and look to noone to make his way for him but is truely able to put aside indifferences of the past and think about future.

Maybe a black who is truely a REAL American.

Look up statistics for Black American conservatives and please note divorce rate, fatherless homes and earnings, then get back to me will you.

When will lefties stop making excuses for blacks who fail and reach out to encouage independance. The left sells this to them because they are cared to death that if blacks became more conservative in ideaology they would lose their most dediacted voting bloc.

Wake up Black America!!!!!

And if you really, I mean REALLY want to make a difference, well..........

Man, I wish a guy named Sitarro could take that same principle he just referred to, adjust the prospective a wee little bit and then apply it to himself as it concerns the failing Republican philosophy who has weakened itself to a point that it is willing to elect a liberal as it's represenative to run for the presidency of the United States of America.

Gotcha!

For instance;

Republicans are "tossed" rhetoric about how republicans want to keep government small yet they have grown it worse than democrats.

They continue to offer decade after decade of a constant downhill run.

Republicans promise to protect our Civil Liberty while their conservative court votes to allow people to be "tossed" from their property so big money developers can build sub-divisions and malls.

Wake up America!!!!!!

Yeah well, they show their "tollerance and diversity" within their own ranks too. Any white demo in the primary supporting Hillary was "racist". I tend to think they don't know the meaning of racist at all. Seems to me "racist" to a democrat now means anyone who does not agree with me on everything.
