But the lapel tags issued for people attending the Obama acceptance speech in Denver at the football stadium for the DNC convention, show Obama's profile... over an upside-down depiction of the American flag, whose star field is in the LOWER left corner.

Normally a violation of flag etiquette, an upside-down flag is used as a distress signal when someone is REALLY in trouble.
